HAPPY ‘THANKFULLY’ THURSDAY !
I'm thankful this week for the fact that my Sunshine Babes came through the Hurrican safe and sound and for my good friends 'the dulcimer buddies' and for the fact that we have only One more day of this work week !
Dinner last night was at the Cracker Barrel. I had Cheddar Brocolli Chicken which was delicious. We had fun looking through their country store too ! I was good and didn't buy anything - but I could have !!!
Have a great day all ! Another wonderful one on the Way !
TODAY IS...WICKED WITCH DAY
Witches and Halloween just go together, but who is the most famous witch of all time? Here's a hint... She said, "I’ll get you my pretty, and your little dog, too!".
Yes, it's the Wicked Witch of the West from the 1939 movie The Wizard of Oz. Nobody wants to dress up like Glenda the Good Witch. Halloween requires that black pointed hat and a good cackle

TODAY'S SMILE
Halloween teaches children a very important lesson: It's okay to take candy from strangers as long as you give your parents half
Important things to remember on Halloween:
Never eat any bite-size treat that has six legs
Never snicker at a witch idling her broom at a stop light
Never chew out a ghost for tearing the label off his sheet
Make sure your child's costume is flame-retardant in case it's cold and he decides to sit on a jack-o-lantern
You won't get as many treats if you go out in some neighborhoods as Osama bin Laden
No matter how tempting it is, never offer to smell a child's feet
Our neighborhood grapevine works fast on Halloween. Every kid on the block knows within minutes which house is handing out the best candy
And finally…
Did you ever wonder what happened to those kids that would steal your Halloween candy? They're now in Billing at the gas company
Life would be so much easier if everyone read the manual

TODAY'S REFLECTION
It is truly wonderful when relatives live together in peace
Psalm 133:1
Living can be so pleasant when the family is happy together. Many a wedding, funeral or family reunion is spoiled because of family friction. When you can be a peacemaker, you bring joy to others and honor to God. In order to do this, you need to feel God's peace within your own heart. Then God will enable you to bring that peace to others
Four steps in a marriage:
1) Honeymoon - "Anything you say."
2) Accommodation - "If you want to..."
3) Assessment - "I wonder about that."
4) Commitment - "You and I together." (Sacrifice; Unity; Struggle)
If the relationship can get through step three and on to step four, it will last
