TODAY'S THOUGHT

The years teach us much the days never knew

Ralph Waldo Emerson

TODAY'S ACTION

Be patient, have faith and work towards what you desire

TODAY'S QUOTE

It's not only children who grow. Parents do too. As much as we watch to see what our children do with their lives, they are watching us to see what we do with ours. I can't tell my children to reach for the sun. All I can do is reach for it myself

Joyce Maynard

HAPPY ‘FINALLY FRIDAY’

Well, the sun finally popped out Thursday afternoon and how glorious it felt. My eyes felt wide open for the first time this week! Hopefully, we’ll continue to see more of it this weekend.

Tomorrow morning I’ll be traveling down to the Family Camp #4. This evening, I’m making the ‘deviled eggs’ and some macaroni salad to take along. The trip is about 1 and ½ hours long so that’s not too bad. And ‘the Newlyweds ‘ are moving this weekend so I’m sure they’ll appreciate the sunshine too !

Have a great day all ! Another wonderful one on the Way !

TODAY IS...HONEY BEE DAY !

In honor of 211,600 beekeepers and 2.63 million colonies of honeybees (yes, we're guessing at those numbers). But, no matter how many there might be, they produce more than 220 million pounds of honey every single year! More than enough for your cup of tea

HONEY BEAUTY RECIPES

Facial Toner — In a blender, puree 1 Tablespoon honey with a peeled, cored apple. Smooth over face. Leave on 15 minutes. Rinse with cool water

Hair Shine — Stir 1 teaspoon honey into 4 cups (1 quart) warm water. Blondes may wish to add a squeeze of lemon. After shampooing, pour mixture through hair. Do not rinse out. Dry as usual

TODAY'S REFLECTION

He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty

 Psalm 91:1

If we love God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength, it means that no part of us doubts, no matter how dire the circumstances may be. There may be no immediate answer, but if we truly believe we are living in God's shadow, we'll be thinking positive thoughts instead of fretting.

Our God isutterly dependable, so if we live in the shadow of his protection, we need not spend time fretting about yesterday or tomorrow. We’ll enjoy each moment and thank God
