HAPPY MONDAY! BACK TO WORK !

And today is our ‘Sweetheart’s’ 3rd Birthday

May the dear Lord Bless you ! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!

For the first part of the week we are supposed to have temps in the 80’s but by the end of the week , we’ll be down in the 50’s…

On my planner for this week is:

Monday – work

Tuesday – work

Wednesday – work and prayer group in the evening

Thursday – work

 Friday – work

Work seems to be the most predominant theme for the week,  It looks like I’ll have to try and fit in a few other ‘happy’ things to do after work this week.

Have a great day all ! Another wonderful one on the Way!

TODAY IS...MUSIC LOVERS DAY !

The birth of music occurred in China during the reign of the legendary "Yellow Emperor", Hwang Di, around the year 3000 B.C. He is said to have sent the noted scholar Ling Lun to the western mountain regions of his domain. His task was to find a way to reproduce the song of the phoenix bird. Ling returned with bamboo pipes he could play - and started the love of music for mankind

AND TODAY IS… Mickey Mouse Club Day, marking debut of the first TV series starring Annette Funicello and Shelley Fabaras on this date in 1955.

TODAY'S SMILE

A little boy took his dog on a 'take your pet to school' day. There were prizes for the smallest, the prettiest, the cutest, and the smartest pet. Determined that his dog win a prize, the boy put his pet through a whole series of tricks. Finally, the boy turned to his dog and asked, 'Mindy, how much is two plus two, minus four?' The dog sat quietly, making no sound, remaining still and silent. 'Right!' exclaimed the boy. His dog won first prize

TODAY'S REFLECTION

Then Jacob made a vow, saying, 'If God will be with me, and keep me in this way that I am going, and give me bread to eat and clothing to put on, so that I come back to my father's house in peace, then the Lord shall be my God

Genesis 28:20

Jacob had cheated his brother, Esau, out of his inheritance and had been sent away to avoid Esau's anger. Several years later, Jacob was on his way home and feared what his brother would do. Today's scripture was Jacob's attempt to bargain with God Some say that one shouldn't ever bargain with God. It seems to me that one shouldn't bargain with God, unless one means to keep the bargain. In any case, the important thing is that we have faith in God, no matter what happens

TODAY'S ADVICE FROM THE OLD FARMER'S ALMANAC

When spreading drop cloths to protect floors while painting, avoid using plastic. It is too slippery and can cause accidents

79 DAYS UNTIL WINTER !

 Psalm 37:4

I Love You All !!!

Be Blessed !!!
