 TODAY'S QUOTE

The picture of health requires a happy frame of mind

HAPPY ‘FINALLY’ FRIDAY !

It looks like we’ll be having rain for the next 7 days according to the weatherman…We’ll be making our own SUNSHINE for sure !

On the news yesterday, I got two good tips for keeping healthy

1. Eat yogurt – it’s good for killing infections

2. Eat beets every day – they will reduce cholesterol by 40%.

It’s worth a try – I love them both!

I found Tip #4 for having ‘fun ‘ at work –

So why then do we question,

When our road is slightly rough?

We must, with Faith,

look to the future

For we will all have times that's tough

Be careful not to welcome in

All negativity, and mope

For God has promised, in the long run

That there always will be Hope

So, no moping today – we’ll just be thankful it’s Friday !

Now we have creativity, time, kindness and hope!!! These tips are good for for those who work at home and those like me that go off to work too!

Take good care !

Have a Great Day ! Another wonderful one on the Way!

TODAY IS...CARAMEL APPLE DAY

And just what can we say about this?

One of America's Favorite Treats - and American Dentists, too

EASY CARAMEL APPLE RECIPE

 6 small apples

1 package caramels (14 oz.)

1/2 cup chopped nuts

6 popsicle sticks

1)Line a cookie sheet with waxed paper. Empty nuts onto the paper and divide into six equal heaps. Leave as much space as possible between each heap.

2) Wash and dry the apples. Twist off the stems and push popsicle sticks half way onto the apples where the stems used to be.

3) Melt the caramels in the microwave or a saucepan over low heat.

4) Dip apples in the melted caramel to coat. Use a knife to help cover the whole apple.

Place each apple, stick side up, onto a heap of nuts and roll over to cover.

 5) Refrigerate until the caramel is firm, about 1/2 hour

TODAY'S SMILE

One Halloween a trick-or-treater came to my door dressed as "Rocky", in boxing gloves and satin shorts.Soon after I gave him some goodies, he returned for more.

"Aren't you the same 'Rocky' who left my doorstep several minutes ago?" I asked.

"Yes," he replied, but now I'm the sequel. I'll be back three more times tonight, too

One more…

A Dutchman was explaining the red, white, and blue Netherlands flag to an American.

"Our flag is symbolic of our taxes. We get red when we talk about them, white when we get our tax bills, and blue after we pay them."

The American nodded. It's the same in the USA only we see stars, too

TODAY'S WORD

2. Concerned with or treating something abstruse or obscure: recondite scholarship.

 3. Concealed; hidden

TODAY'S REFLECTION

Because You have been my help, therefore in the shadow of Your wings I will rejoice

 Psalm 63:7

Sometimes terrible things happen to us and we are devastated at the time. Later when we look back on the event, we see that God was protecting us.

The Bible does not say that God protects you from all the troubles oflife. If you allow fear, anxiety or anger to get in the way, you will make the trouble worse.

If you face trouble with the confidence that God is on your side, you can learn from the trouble and find ways of escape. It is the way we react to these troubles that makes a difference!

TODAY'S ADVICE FROM THE OLD FARMER'S ALMANAC

He will give you the desires of your Heart

Psalm 37:4

I Love You All !!!

Be Blessed !!!
