HAPPY MONDAY !

BACK TO WORK !

Another week – a new beginning !

This week’s plan so far…

Monday – work

Tuesday – work and Dulcimer night

Wednesday – work and Prayer Group at the Wellspring

Thursday – work Friday – work

Work is something I’d rather not do , so I’m trying real hard to turn this around. Since it is the major part of my week, I’ve decided to try and make it fun. Just exactly how I’m going to do this isn’t clear yet, but I’m working on it. I’ll be letting you all know my findings when I find them.

Take good care all !

Have a great day !

Another wonderful one on the Way !

Please pray for God's protection of our troops and HIS wisdom for their commanders.

Lord, hold our troops in your loving hands. Protect them asthey protect us. Bless them and their families for the selfless acts they perform for us in our time of need. I ask this in the name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior

 TODAY IS...SHOE SIZE DAY

The Romans are the ones who invented shoe sized. They knew that barleycorns were usually the same length and decided three in a row equaled an inch. Shoemakers used one barleycorn, or 1/3 inch, for size increments. And this is exactly the way shoes sizes are made today.

TODAY'S SMILE

Top Ten Reasons God Created Eve (written by Eve of course)

Number 10: God worried that Adam would always be lost in the garden because men hate to ask for directions.

Number 9: God knew that Adam would one day need someone to hand him the TV remote. (Men don't want to see what's ON television, they want to see WHAT ELSE is on!)

Number 8: God knew that Adam would never buy a new fig leaf when his seat wore out and would therefore need Eve to get one for him.

Number 7: God knew that Adam would never make a doctor's appointment for himself.

Number 6: God knew that Adam would never remember which day was garbage day.

Number 5: God knew that if the world was to be populated, men would never be able to handle childbearing.

Number 4: As "Keeper of the Garden," Adam would never remember where he put his tools.

Number 3: The scripture account of creation indicates Adam needed someone to blame his troubles on when God caught him hiding in the garden.

Number 2: As the Bible says, "It is not good for man to be alone!"

Number 1: When God finished the creation of Adam, He stepped back, scratched His head and said, "I can do better than that."

It's interesting that the only time that God said, "It is not good" during His creation was when man was alone.

I thank God for his wisdom in creating such a perfect complement to man.

TODAY'S REFLECTION

When the blind man was getting near, Jesus asked, 'What do you want me to do for you?' 'Lord, I want to see!' he answered

Luke 18:40-41

When you are fearful or anxious, resentful or angry, you cloud your mind with such negativity that it is impossible for you to think clearly. But when you trust in the Lord and wait for his guidance, your thinking becomes clear and you see the way ahead. Waiting isn't easy, but it brings blessings
