TODAY'S QUOTE

Plenty of people miss their share of happiness. Not because they never found it, but because they didn't stop to enjoy it

William Feather

HAPPY ‘SUDDENLY’ SUNDAY !

I’m off to church and then home again to prepare for the coming work week ! I do have a vacation day tomorrow, but that will be spent with DD. I don’t know yet exactly what we will do, but it will be something fun. Then it will be back to work on Tuesday !

I’ll be praying for all of you and for our troops and for those still trying to recover from the hurricanes.

Have a great day ! Another wonderful one on the Way !

TODAY'S SMILE

A mother is showing her boy how to zip up his coat. "The secret," she says, "is to get the left part of the zipper to fit in the other side before you try to zip it up."

The boy looks at her quizzically.

Why does it have to be a secret

One more…

A college boy takes his girlfriend to a football game. It’s the first football game she’s ever seen, and afterwards he asks her how she liked it. "Oh, I really liked it," she says, "but I just couldn't understand though why they were killing each other for 25 cents."

"What do you mean?"

All they kept screaming was:

Get the quarter back. Get the quarter back

TODAY'S WORD

 TODAY'S REFLECTION

Who do people think is the greatest, a person who has served or one who serves? Isn't the one who has served? But I have been with you as a servant

Luke 22:27

Jesus taught the importance of serving. He showed that there could be no greater love expressed than serving others So enjoy what you're doing and give your very best service. The blessings will outweigh anything you can do.
