TODAY'S QUOTE

Fear can keep us up all night long, but faith makes one fine pillow

Philip Gulley

HAPPY MONDAY !

It was a beautiful sunny day yesterday, DD and DS#5 were a church and I got to visit with them a bit. Then in the afternoon, I gave in to the beautiful day and went for a walk—just a half hour, but the colors and sunshine were a blessing. Other than that it was a very quiet day. I guess I need those quiet ones, so I can gear up for the upcoming holidays. Lots to do !

DS#1 called to check in last night and they have had a busy week . My #1 grand dog is not doing too well, so I’ll be praying for her. Our ‘Princess’ was full of news of her great pumpkin hunt and dance class. I should have some more pictures to show you all soon ! It’s always great to talk with my babes!

Back to Work !

Remember we’ve got our gifts of creativity, time, kindness, and hope to keep us going ! The good Lord hasn’t blessed me with any new insights to enjoying work, so I guess that must be enough for now.

Have a great day ! Another wonderful one on the Way!

TODAY IS...HALLOWEEN DAY !

Holidays and festivals have been celebrated at the end of October for thousands of years. During the 8th century, the Christian church made November 1st, "All Saints' Day". And the night before was called "All Hallows Eve". Over the years, this name became Halloween. The custom of Halloween was brought to America in the 1800's by European immigrants

TODAY'S REFLECTION

If it had not been the Lord who was on our side…

Psalm 124:1

David was remembering the times that the Lord had guided him to victory against his enemies In those times when you are puzzled or afraid of the future, sit down, take paper and pen and write down times when God has led you out of your troubles. As you look at this list, you have the faith to go to God in prayer and tell him your concerns. For you know that he listens and will guide you out of your present dilemma
