TODAY’S QUOTE
Act as if what you do makes a difference. It does.

HAPPY MONDAY
Sunday was a dreary old day and the wind was whistling around my house. It’s getting colder outside again. The critters and I just stayed in and kept warm. Of course I enjoyed having my computer back on line and spent a good part of the day on it.
I heard from the campers and they now have their campers all winterized and closed up for another season. DD had an exciting time with a big ole snake in her camper and DS#1 had mice in his. Hopefully they are all sealed up for the winter now and no more critters will be visiting them.
DD had 4 more A’s on her tests at school and her hubby is being just great helping out around the house, so that she can do her studying.
I saw DS#5 at church and all is well with them and DS#6 called to say they were doing just fine. They had spent Saturday at Cedar Point and I guess there was quite a crowd there.
That’s the news from home as I know it.
Back to work for me today !
Have a great day all ! Another wonderful one on the Way !
TODAY IS…CANDY CORN DAY !
Candy Corn has been made since the 1880s and is one of the most popular holiday candies in history. Over 20 million pounds of candy corn is sold at Halloween. This is about 5 1/2 billion pieces - enough to circle the moon twice with plenty left over. And each piece only has 3.57 calories.

CANNED FOOD DAY Nicolas Appert was born on this day in 1749 at Chalons-Sur-Marne, France. He was destined to become a great chef and confectioner -- and chemist and inventor. In 1809 the French government awarded Appert with twelve thousand francs for his contribution to the world. Nicolas Appert had, in his search to preserve food, invented a process of heating foods and sealing them in airtight containers. In 1812 he was bestowed with the title, Benefactor of Humanity. TODAY’S REFLECTION
This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.
Psalm 118:24
Our faith and hope can bring joy and peace in our present circumstances. Jesus was clear that the day and hour of his return are unknown. He was not telling us just to be ready for a specific time yet to come but to be ready all the time - right now - so that we can enjoy God's amazing display of every day.
In gratitude to God, enjoy the wonders of each day.
