 HAPPY TUESDAY !

AND HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO DS#1

May the dear Lord bless you today and always !

It was a rainy gloomy ole day yesterday, somehow my eyes stayed open and I got through the day.

Gas was the lowest I’ve sent in a long time – I filled up the car today with $2.47 a gallon gas…Now if it would just go below 2.00 we’d all be much happier !

I’ll put Our Sweetheart’s 1st day of school picture on my journal page for Tuesday morning. Take good care all ! Another wonderful one on the Way !

Please pray for God's protection of our troops and HIS wisdom for their commanders.

Lord, hold our troops in your loving hands. Protect them as they protect us. Bless them and their families for the selfless acts they perform for us in our time of need. I ask this in the name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.

GOD BLESS YOU ! They really do need our prayers !

TODAY IS…LEMON JUICE DAY

Lemons originated in Southeast Asia and spread westward to India and the Mediterranean. Columbus brought the first seeds to the New World in 1493. Nobody knows when they got to the US, but lemons were growing in Florida in 1579. Of all the citrus fruits, lemons are the most detoxifying.

TODAY’S SMILE

Start your day off with a great big smile because every day should be a GREAT DAY.

Football Season

Wendy was reading a newspaper, while James, her husband, was engrossed in a magazine. Suddenly, she burst out laughing. "Listen to this," she said. "There's a classified ad here where a guy is offering to swap his wife for a season ticket to the stadium."

"Hmmm," James said, not looking up from his magazine. Teasing him, Wendy said, "Would you swap me for a season ticket?" "Absolutely not," he said. "How sweet," Wendy said. "Tell me why not."

"Season's more than half over," he said.

! TODAY’S WORD

mé·lange noun

A mixture:

[French, from Old French meslance, from mesler, to mix.]

TODAY’S REFLECTION

Controlling your temper is better than being a hero who captures a city.

Proverbs 16:32

One doesn't think of a mild mannered person as being a hero or heroine, but the writer of Proverbs considers that person better than a hero. When you become known to remain calm under all circumstances, you are a blessing to everyone.

Jesus said, "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God" (Matthew 5:9).

TODAY’S ADVICE FROM THE OLD FARMER’S ALMANAC

Before using candles, put them in the freezer; it will make them burn longer.

24 DAYS UNTIL AUTUMN !

Psalm 37:4

I Love You All !!!

Be Blessed !!!
