TODAY'S THOUGHT

Light tomorrow with today.

 Elizabeth Barret Browning

TODAY’S ACTION

Remember that remarkable achievements begin as thoughts.

TODAY’S QUOTE

Love is like a butterfly: It goes where it pleases and it pleases wherever it goes.

HAPPY SATURDAY!

It’s another ‘ordinary’ day here at my house. By now you all know what that means. There is nothing new or earth shaking to report – all is quiet on the home front.

Yesterday was a beautiful sunny, but cool day. I think the high was 75 degress ! What a blessing !

Have a great day all ! Another wonderful one on the Way !

TODAY IS…TRUCK DRIVERS DAY!

Today is a time to give a nice thought to all of those people who travel the road. Truckers move our mail, our groceries and about everything else - including, sometimes, us! They keep the economy going, but they also spend a lot of time far away from home.

Today let's say, "We Love Truckers!"

TODAY’S TRIVIA

Today is Put Peanuts in Your Coke Day. Don’t shake it up.

Today is Thank You Day, a good day to say thank you or send someone a thank you note.

Today is PC Day, marking IBM's introduction of the personal computer on August 12, 1981.

1937: Comedian, Red Skelton, got his first taste of network radio on this night, as he appeared on the Rudy Vallee Show on NBC.

TODAY’S SMILE

Start your day off with a great big smile because every day should be a GREAT DAY.

One of those huge graders goes to work on a highway repair job. when the machine is operating on a busy road, traffic is halted and the cars lined up in opposite directions are allowed to proceed alternately.

A veteran operator of one of those big machines decided one day to try to relieve the tension that inevitably results from such a traffic backup.

Consequently on both the front and rear of his grader a sign now appears, declaring,

"The Road to Happiness is Almost Always Under Construction."

TODAY’S REFLECTION

That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties, for when I am weak, then I am strong.

II Corinthians 12:10

When we know that God cares about us, we don’t let the troubles of the world keep us enjoying the rest of our life.

Like the apostle Paul, when we are weak, we are strong because of our faith.
