HAPPY WEDNESDAY
OVER THE HUMP DAY!
It was a quiet Tuesday here, just very cold. Today they say SNOW. One thing about March snow is that it usually doesn't last long and melts off pretty quick. Trouble here is that I still have all kinds of snow. I've noticed some bare spots in the yard though and if we just get some warmer days it will be gone.
The Star Magnolia bush in my front yard has huge buds on it . Guess it will bloom pretty quickly once the weather warms up. DS#4 got it for me several years ago and it's grown quite abit. Last year several people stopped and asked what it was as it was so pretty.
It will be a blessing when we can see some blooms instead of flakes.
Take good care all !
Have a great day ! Another wonderful one on the Way!
Please pray for God's protection of our troops and HIS wisdom fortheir commanders.
Lord, hold our troops in your loving hands. Protect them as they protect us. Bless them and their families for the selfless acts they perform for us in our time of need. I ask this in the name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
GOD BLESS YOU !
TODAY IS…SALT WATER DAY
Why is ocean water salty? River water picks up mineral salts from rocks and soil as it flows to the ocean. Not much salt is in that river water, but hold on! Ocean water only evaporates (or freezes into polar ice), and the salt stays behind, so... over time, the ocean just gets saltier and saltier. If all the salt was taken from the oceans and sprinkled on land, it would make a layer about 500 feet deep - as high as a 40 story building. Now, that's a lot of salt!

TODAY’S REFLECTION
O LORD, God of Israel, there is no God like You in heaven above or on earth beneath, keeping covenant and steadfast love for Your servants who walk before You with all their heart.
I Kings 8:23
Before you get out of bed, make a habit of saying this one sentence: "God, I thank You for today, for the ways You will bless me, and for the ways that I will serve others in Your name." It may be a little tough to do the first few days. But as it becomes part of your daily routine, it will open your eyes to the fact that there is so much to give thanks for every day.
