TODAY’S QUOTE
Behold the turtle. He makes progress only when he sticks his neck out.

HAPPY FINALLY FRIDAY
It certainly has been a fast week and a very busy one. I’ve still got a pile of work on my desk and that is unusual for me on a Friday. Hopefully by the time I leave work today I’ll be all caught up.
Today should be another sunny day here with temps near 60.
I’ll be praying for DDIL#6’s Mom as she has surgery today
May the dear Lord bless her with a successful surgery and a speedy recovery.
Have a great day all ! Another wonderful one on the Way !
Please pray for God's protection of our troops and HIS wisdom for their commanders.
Lord, hold our troops in your loving hands. Protect them as they protect us. Bless them and their families for the selfless acts they perform for us in our time of need. I ask this in the name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
25 WORDS
God, I thank You for today, for the ways You will bless me, and for the ways that Iwill serve others in Your name
TODAY IS…FROZEN FOOD DAY
People have been freezing food in artic regions since pre-historic times - and weren't they smart! We now know that freezing is safer than any other form of food preservation since bacteria can't grow on frozen food. This industry grew rapidly during the 20th century because it saved people time (and storage space) in their kitchens. An added benefit is that frozen food loses less flavor and vitamins than other methods during processing.

TODAY’S SMILE
A story is told of a Jewish man who was riding on the subway reading an Arab newspaper. A friend of his, who happened to be riding in the same subway car, noticed this strange phenomenon.
Very upset, he approached the newspaper reader "Moshe, have you lost your mind? Why are you reading an Arab newspaper?"
Moshe replied "I used to read the Jewish newspaper, but what did I find? Jews being persecuted, Israel being attacked, Jews disappearing through assimilation and intermarriage, Jews living in poverty. So I switched to the Arab newspaper.
Now what do I find? Jews own all the banks, Jews control the media, Jews are all rich and powerful, Jews rule the world. The news is so much better."
BLESSINGS IN DISGUISE
We all want happiness and dread the thought of rain.
When the sun fails to shine, we worry and complain.
We forget that God above is infinitely wise,
and sometimes our ails are blessings in disguise.
For if we're always happy filled with sunshine and cheer,
our hearts would hold no mercy for others who shed tears.
So when trouble comes knocking, remember to stay strong.
Rainbows always follow the storm
and dark clouds never stay long.

TODAY’S REFLECTION
The LORD loves you.
Deuteronomy 7:8
God loves you simply because he has chosen to do so. He loves you when you don’t feel lovely. He loves you when no one else loves you. Others may abandon you, divorce you, and ignore you, but God will love you.
Always. No matter what.
This is his promise: “I have loved you, my people, with an everlasting love. With unfailing love I have drawn you to myself” Jer. 31:3
