TODAY’S QUOTE
When we seek to discover the best in others, we somehow bring out the best in ourselves.
William Arthur Ward
HAPPY SATURDAY
It’s the last day of March and I guess that old saying about coming in like a lion and going out like a lamb is true. We had sunshine and near 60 degree temps here yesterday. I took a little walk around the house to find that yes indeed we do have some blooms here. I found some daffodils blooming and the hyacinths almost ready to pop open.
The grass is very green and I imagine by next week we may need to mow it.
Thank the dear Lord, DDIL#6’s mom came through her surgery just fine and thank you for praying with me.
I’ll be spending the day with my Dad today and then try to catch up around here tomorrow. It will be Palm Sunday and in one more week we’ll have Easter. Our family celebration won’t be until the 15th. which is also DS#2’s birthday. We did sing Happy Birthday to him last weekend when I was on vacation.
I have a few things that must be done before I’m on my way this morning so I’d best get with it
Have a great day all ! Another wonderful one on the Way !
Please pray for God's protection of our troops and HIS wisdom for their commanders.
Lord, hold our troops in your loving hands. Protect them as they protect us. Bless them and their families for the selfless acts they perform for us in our time of need. I ask this in the name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
25 WORDS
God, I thank You for today, for the ways You will bless me, and for the ways that I will serve others in Your name
TODAY IS…COLORING CRAYON DAY
In 1903, Binney & Smith, Inc. put crayons on sale for the first time. Their brand name "Crayola" was made by putting the French word for chalk (craie) with "ola" (for oily). The first Crayola crayons came in a box of 8 and sold for 5 cents. Today, Binney & Smith produce about 7 million crayons every day in 120 colors. The average American child uses 730 crayons by his 10th birthday. It's no surprise that a study shows the smell of Crayola crayons is one of the twenty top scents recognized by adults in the U.S.

TODAY’S SMILE
A man lay sprawled across three entire seats in the posh theater. When the usher came by and noticed this, he whispered to the man, "Sorry, sir, but you're only allowed one seat." The man groaned but didn't budge.
The usher became impatient. "Sir, if you don't get up from there I'm going to have to call the manager." Again, the man just groaned, which infuriated the usher who turned and marched briskly back up the aisle in search of his manager.
In a few moments, both the usher and the manager returned and stood over the man. Together the two of them tried repeatedly to move him, but with no success. Finally, they summoned the police.
The cop surveyed the situation briefly then asked, "All right buddy, what's your name?"
"Sam," the man moaned. "Where ya from, Sam?"
With pain in his voice Sam replied "the balcony." …
The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein for ever. The mouth of the righteous speaketh wisdom, and his tongue talketh of judgment. The law of his God is in his heart; none of his steps shall slide. -Psalms 37:23

TODAY’S REFLECTION
Jesus said, "I tell you, her many sins have been forgiven - for she loved much."
Luke 7:47
The Lord's Prayer says that we are forgiven "as we forgive" others (Matt. 6:12) Forgiveness is the antidote to bitterness in the soul. If we want to be free of bitterness and stop new bitterness from creeping into our lives, we forgive.
