HAPPY SATURDAY

3RD AND FINAL WARNING: Set your clocks ahead one hour before you go to bed! Daylight Savings Time begins tomorrow – SPRING FORWARD !

And don’t forget to change the batteries in your smoke alarms too !

As usual I’m sitting here enjoying my good cup of morning coffee. I love weekend mornings when there is no rush and no fuss. The weekday morning dash gets a little old and thank the good Lord we have 2 days off work.

I’ll be spending the day at my Dad’s and then tomorrow is church and catch up day. Nothing much on the calendar this weekend. A little R & R is good for the soul.

Have a great day all ! Another wonderful one on the Way !

Please pray for God's protection of our troops and HIS wisdom for their commanders.

Lord, hold our troops in your loving hands. Protect them as they protect us. Bless them and their families for the selfless acts they perform for us in our time of need. I ask this in the name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.

25 WORDS

God, I thank You for today, for the ways You will bless me, and for the ways that I will serve others in Your name

TODAY IS…RAVEN LEGEND DAY

There have been ravens at The Tower of London for over 900 years. Their legend goes like this... Charles II was told that if the Ravens ever left the Tower, the monarchy would fall. He made sure they didn't! Ravens are now kept at the Tower by clipping their wings. They have their own lodgings, are cared for by the Ravenmaster - and they take all the tourists in stride.

 TODAY’S SMILE

Three little boys were bragging about how tough they were. "I'm so tough", said the first boy, "That I can wear out a pair of shoes in a week."

"Well", said the second little boy, "I'm so tough, I can wear out a pair of jeans in a day."

"That's nothing", said the third boy. "When my parents take me to see my grandma and grandpa, I can wear them out in an hour."

Children's children are the crown of old men; and the glory of children are their fathers.

Proverbs 17:6

TODAY’S WORD

TODAY’S REFLECTION

Christ in you, the hope of glory.

Colossians 1:27

You have a mission in life and this is it: you. Your mission is not only your story, though that is part of it, it is you, because Christ is in you. You were made to be a vessel to carry him and reflect him through your personality as he lives his life through yours.

You are the temple, the dwelling place of the most high. You are a carrier of Christ; he lives again in you. The Bible calls you lots of things, but they all underline this point. You are a fragrance of Christ wherever you go (2 Corinthians 2:17). You are a letter known and read by everyone (2 Corinthians 3:1-2). You are a vessel carrying around a treasure – “the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.” (2 Corinthians 4:6-7) And all of us together form the Body of Christ (1 Corinthians 12).

All this to say that you and I are God's greatest statement. It's why he made us. Your slip-ups and failures and sins don't negate the presence of Christ in your life. They show why you have him – why you need him.
