TODAY'S THOUGHT

Prayer is man's greatest means of tapping the infinite resources of God.

J. Edgar Hoover

TODAY’S ACTION

Live with the thought of being in God's care.

TODAY’S QUOTE

Life appears to me too short to be spent in nursing animosity or registering wrong.

Charlotte Bronte

HAPPY FINALLY FRIDAY!

AND

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO DS#3 AND HIS WIFE !

May the dear Lord bless you both today and always !

I’m only working half day today so I can go help out at Dad’s as he has a doctor’s appointment this afternoon. Then I’ll be spending most of Saturday and Sunday with him too. Work keeps me occupied during the week so I feel I should be there on the weekends.

It has been very cool here and I had to turn the furnace back on yesterday evening to take the chill off around here. By Sunday I think it will be up in the 70’s. We’ll see…

Have a great day all ! Another wonderful one on the Way !

Please pray for God's protection of our troops and HIS wisdom for their commanders.

Lord, hold our troops in your loving hands. Protect them as they protect us. Bless them and their families for the selfless acts they perform for us in our time of need. I ask this in the name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.

25 WORDS

God, I thank You for today, for the ways You will bless me, and for the ways that I will serve others in Your name

TODAY IS…SENIOR CITIZENS DAY

Senior citizens make up about 10% of the users on the internet. But, that number grows larger every day as older people get their first computers and start having fun in cyberspace.

They are proof that the quote from Les Brown is true... "You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream."

If wrinkles must be written upon our brows, let them not be written upon the heart. The spirit should never grow old.

James A. Garfield

TODAY’S SMILE

One afternoon, this guy drives down a highway to visit a nearby lake and relax. On his way to the lake, a guy dressed from head to toe in red standing on the side of the highway gestures for him to stop. The guy rolls down the window and says, "How can I help you?"

"I am the red jerk of the highway. You got something to eat?" With a smile on his face, the guy hands a sandwich to the guy in red and drives away.

Not even five minutes later, he comes across another guy. This guy is dressed fully in yellow, standing on the side of the road and waving for him to stop. A bit irritated, our guy stops, cranks down the window, and says, "What can I do for you?"

"I am the yellow jerk of the highway. You got something to drink?" Hardly managing to smile this time, he hands the guy a can of Coke and stomps on the pedal and takes off again.

In order to make it to the lakeside before sunset, he decides to go faster and not to stop no matter what. To his frustration, he sees another guy on the side of the road, this one dressed in blue and signaling for him to stop.

Reluctantly, our guy decides to stop one last time. He rolls down his window, and yells, "Let me guess. You're the blue jerk of the highway, and just what the heck do you wanna have?"

 "Driver's license and registration, please."

Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.

Matthew 7:1

TODAY’S REFLECTION

Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds.

Hebrews 10:23

The early Christians were surrounded by unbelievers and Paul was reassuring them and asking them to be encouraging to one another. For some reason, we find it easier to criticize than encourage, when one of the deepest cravings we have is to be appreciated.

Remember that whenever you brighten someone else's life, you brighten your own.

TODAY’S ADVICE FROM THE OLD FARMER’S ALMANAC

Weed perennial beds with special care to avoid pulling up precious self-sown seedlings. When you can tell for sure what's what, pull the weeds and top-dress the plants with compost or rich soil -- just before a rain, if possible.

34 DAYS UNTIL SUMMER !

Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your Heart

Psalm 37:4

May there be a miracle in YOUR life today and may you have the EYES to SEE it!

I Love You All !!!

Be Blessed !!!
