HAPPY SUNDAY

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO DDIL#1

MAY THE DEAR LORD BLESS YOU TODAY AND ALWAYS!

Birthdays are good for you;

the more you have, the longer you live.

I had a nice day visiting with DS#3 and his family yesterday And I will post some pictures for you all to see on my Good Morning Sunshine journal page. It rained just about all day long.

We got home just in time to leave for my Dad’s house and spend the rest of the evening there. All and all it was a nice day, but now I’ve have lots to do today.

Next weekend DS#4 and his family will be in to spend Thanksgiving week here and the following weekend is our Thanksgiving feast…Then begins Advent and that means only 4 weeks til Christmas.

The days are flying by faster than ever!

Have a great day all ! Another wonderful one on the Way !

Please pray for God's protection of our troops and HIS wisdom for their commanders.

Lord, hold our troops in your loving hands. Protect them as they protect us. Bless them and their families for the selfless acts they perform for us in our time of need. I ask this in the name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.

TODAY IS…PIZZA DAY !

The word pizza comes from the Latin word picea which the Romans used to describe the blackening of bread in an oven. The world's first true pizzeria "Antica Pizzeria Port'Alba" opened in 1830, and is still in business today in Naples. An Italian immigrant named Gennaro Lombardi opened the first U.S. pizzeria in 1895 in New York City. Pizza is now consumed all over the world - with or without anchovies!

TODAY’S SMILE

OUT OF THE MOUTHS OF BABES

So, your mother says your prayers for you each night? Very commendable. What does she say?" The little boy replied, "Thank Heaven he's in bed!

At the mall a little girl climbed onto Santa's lap, and he asked the usual, "And what would you like for Christmas?" The child stared at him open mouthed and horrified for a minute, then gasped: "But, but, didn't you get my E-mail?"

It was Palm Sunday and, because of strep throat, Sue's four-year-old son had to stay home from church with a baby-sitter. When the family returned home carrying palm branches, he asked what they were for. "People held them over Jesus' head as he walked by," his mother explained. "Wouldn't you know it," the boy fumed. "The one Sunday I didn't go, He showed up!"

TODAY’S REFLECTION

Then Jesus declared, 'I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never go hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty.

John 6:35

God has always cared for his children. In the wilderness, when the Israelites complained of hunger, he sent manna from heaven for them to eat. But there was a stipulation that came with the manna -- they were only to gather up enough food for the day

We have to trust the Lord one day at a time.
