ON THE BRIGHT SIDE

NOVEMBER 6TH, 2006

TODAY'S THOUGHT

Blessed is the influence of one true, loving human soul on another

George Eliot

TODAY’S ACTION

Believe in yourself and particularly in your own good and positive influence on other people.

May the light of our Lord continue to brighten, inspire and guide you along your daily journey.

TODAY’S QUOTE

Every second we live is a new and unique moment of the universe, a moment that never was before and never will be again. And what do we teach our children in school? We teach them that two and two make four and that Paris is the capital of France. We should say to each of them, "Do you know who you are? You are a marvel. You are unique. In the millions of years that have passed, there has never been another child like you.”

Pablo Casals

HAPPY MONDAY

BACK TO WORK !

I had a nice lunch with DD yesterday, we did a little shopping afterwards too ! I managed to get a couple more Christmas gifts and she got her November purse. The weather was beautiful – mostly sunny and in the 50’s. This whole week is supposed to be up in the 50’s…much nicer than that freezing stuff we had last week. Maybe this is our Indian Summer.

I got a start on my crafting too ! So I guess it was a pretty good weekend all the way around.

Looking ahead for the week my calendar , it doesn’t have much on it except for voting on Tuesday after work. Not sure who I’m voting for yet. DON'TFORGET TO GET OUT AND VOTE!

Have a great day all ! Another wonderful one on the Way !

Please pray for God's protection of our troops and HIS wisdom for their commanders.

Lord, hold our troops in your loving hands. Protect them as they protect us. Bless them and their families for the selfless acts they perform for us in our time of need. I ask this in the name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.

Whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight.

1 John 3:22

God delights to give us what we ask when it is in His will. Never underestimate His desire to respond to our prayers. A surprise may be just around the corner.

If you get definite with God, He’ll get definite with you
