HAPPY SATURDAY
Today we all gather as a family to celebrate Thanksgiving. Our family now numbers 26 and as we’re missing DS#2 and his family there will be 21 of us in this old house today. Talk about wall to wall people—that’s what we’ll be having. 3 tables will be set for dinner. The dining room and living room will be one long row of people. Thankfully the large archway dividing the two rooms makes it seem like one big room anyway. I’ll take lots of pictures and post them on the journal page tomorrow for you all to see. It should be lots of fun for all ! They all love to get together !

Lord, hold our troops in your loving hands. Protect them as they protect us. Bless them and their families for the selfless acts they perform for us in our time of need. I ask this in the name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.

The Bible tells us that Jesus was referring to the Holy Spirit, which those who believe were to receive. We are made in the image of God and through the work and sacrifice of Jesus Christ, we have the opportunity to become channels through which God's "living water" flows to others.
When you truly believe, the Holy Spirit will dwell in you and give you the wisdom and compassion to be a conduit of God's love to others who need it so much. You'll take time to listen to them, to pray for them -- to be there for them
