TODAY'S THOUGHT
If only you could sense how important you are to the lives of those you meet; how important you can be to people you may never even dream of. There is something of yourself that you leave at every meeting with another person.
Fred Rogers
TODAY’S ACTION
Never place too much importance on objects.
TODAY’S QUOTE
Very few burdens are heavy if everyone lifts.

HAPPY SUNDAY !
The day to get some much needed R & R . I plan on going to church this morning and then stop by and visit with my Dad a bit and then come home to get things ready for another work week.
Sundays around here usually follow about the same pattern, except that I usually visit Dad on Saturday evenings, not Sunday mornings. It was a little late for going to visit when I got home yesterday. There are pictures posted to the journal page as always.
Have a great day all ! Another wonderful one on the Way.
TODAY IS…ALERGY ALERT DAY
An allergy is your body's reaction to something that doesn't bother most people. You can be allergic to an animal, flower, plant, food, insect - or even the dust in your own house. If more people seem to suffer from allergies in the spring, it's because of all the things growing in their yards.
But, are grass and pollen the biggest culprits? No. The one substance that causes the most problems is mold.
TODAY’S TRIVIA

JOGGING FOR EXERCISE
1 It's stated that for every mile you jog, you'll add a minute to your life. This enables you, at age 85, to spend an additional 5 months in a nursing home at $5,000 per month.
2. My grandmother started walking 5 miles a day when she was 60, now 70 - we don't know where she is.
3. I joined a health club last year, spent about $400, haven't lost a pound - apparently you have to show up.
4. I have to exercise very early in the morning before my brain figures out what I am doing.
5. I don't exercise at all. If God meant for us to touch our toes, he would have put them further up our body.
6. I like long walks, especially those taken by people who annoy me.
7. I have flabby thighs, but fortunately my stomach covers them.
8. The advantage of exercising every day is that you die healthier.
9. If you are going to try cross-country skiing, start with a small country.
10. And last, but not least, I don't jog - it makes the ice jump right out of my glass.
You know you're in trouble when you drive through a junkyard and get an offer on your car

TODAY’S REFLECTION
As for man, his days are like grass; as a flower of the field, so he flourishes. When the wind has passed over it, it is no more; and its place acknowledges it no longer.
Psalm 103:15, 16
In the tiny petal of a tiny flower
That grew from a tiny pod,
Is the miracle and the mystery
Of all creation and God!
