HAPPY SUNDAY!
Day 3 of my vacation already.
Where does the time go when you are having fun??? Of course today is the R & R day and I’ll be getting ready for a new week.
Today I’m having the Newlyweds for dinner and DS#6 wants chicken and rice so I’ll put that in the oven before church this morning and it’ll be ready when we get home.
Tomorrow is my ‘camp ‘ day so I’ll be making the deviled eggs for our Princess ! My two dulcimer buddies are going down with me for the day.
Have a great day all ! Another wonderful one on the way !
Please pray for God's protection of our troops and HIS wisdom for their commanders.
Lord, hold our troops in your loving hands. Protect them as they protect us. Bless them and their families for the selfless acts they perform for us in our time of need. I ask this in the name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior
God Bless You !
TODAY IS…VIOLIN LOVERS DAY
The violin can be traced back to the 9th century in Europe, with its origin probably in Asia. It took at least 450 years to devolop, but is a great example of the artistry learned over the centuries by people making stringed instruments. Today, violins are made of wood with steel strings and have a range of at least 3 octaves. They have to withstand the strong downward force of the strings on the bridge - which is about 17lbs (7.7kgs) of pressure.

TODAY’S SMILE
A man takes his Rottweiler to the vet. "My dog's cross-eyed, is there anything you can do for him?" "Well," says the vet, "let's have a look at him."
So he picks the dog up and examines his eyes, then checks his teeth. Finally, he says "I'm going to have to put him down."
"What? Because he's cross-eyed?"
"No, because he's much too heavy."
One more…
Dave... walking with a friend said to that friend, "I'm a walking economy."
The friend replied "How so?"
"My hair line is in recession, my stomach is a victim of inflation, and both of these together are putting me into a deep depression!"
Know what I mean???

TODAY’S REFLECTION
I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth.
Genesis 9:13
Noah and his family must have been overjoyed at the end of forty days and nights of rain to see the rainbow appear in the sky. God promised that never again would water cover the earth The rainbow was the sign of that covenant
Life can be good and without warning, trouble descends like teeming rain. Like Noah, we have to trust God even when we don't understand.
Just look for the rainbow!
