TODAY’S QUOTE
Laughter is a highly addictive positive contagious: if somebody starts, it's very difficult to stop.

HAPPY FINALLY FRIDAY !
It’s here ! Today is Friday ! What a long week it was.
I’m sure glad that the weekend has come again! They say it’s going to be a hot one – up in the 90’s. I hope you all are staying cool and comfortable.
I’m thinking I’ll get a lot done inside, not outside ! Any temp over 85 is too hot for me. Unless, ofcourse, I am at the ‘beach’, but that rarely happens!
Have a great day all ! Another wonderful one on the Way !
TODAY IS…PICK BLUEBERRIES DAY !
Why are people eating so many blueberries? Because they rank the highest of all fruit and vegetables in anti-oxidants that fight aging. (Their powerhouse performance comes from the same substanace that makes them so blue.) They're also high in fiber, fat free and taste great.
FRESH BLUEBERRY SALAD

1/2 cup plain yogurt
1/4 cup orange marmalade
2 teaspoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
3 medium peaches (cut into wedges)
2 cups fresh blueberries
2 cups cubed, smoked turkey
In a mixing bowl, combine the mayonaisse, yogurt, marmalade, lemon juice and pepper. 2. Add the peaches, blueberries and turkey. Toss to mix until well coated. 3. Serve on lettuce leaves with crusty bread for a great summer meal.

TODAY’S SMILE
The little boy just got home from Sunday School and mom was cooking lunch. Mommy, is it true that before you're born you're just dust and after you die you go back to being dust?
That's right son, why? Well that's just what they said at church today.
Run up stairs and wash your hands son, lunch will be ready in a few minutes. About 10 minutes went by and she called out for him to come down. Be there in a minute.
As they were about to sit down at the table, the little boy asked again about being dust before being born and after you die. Once again mother said yes son.
The little boy looked at her and said, then you better get up to my room pretty quick, because something under my bed is either coming or going!!!!
Dust if You Must
Dust if you must...but wouldn't it be better
to paint a picture or write a letter,
bake cookies or a cake or plant a seed,
ponder the difference between want and need?
Dust if you must, but there's not much time,
with rivers to swim and mountains to climb,
music to hear and books to read,
friends to cherish and life to lead.
Dust if you must, but the world's out there
with the sun in your eyes, the wind in your hair,
a flutter of snow, a shower of rain.
This day will not come around, again.
Dust if you must, but bear in mind,
old age will come and it's not kind.
And when you go - and go you must -
you, yourself will make more dust!

We were younger, faster, prettier. Prone to be people of the past tense, we reminisce. Not God. Unwavering in strength, He need never say, “I was.”

I used to have a Honda Civic. I wish that I was still driving one today instead of the 2003 Volkswagon Jetta that I have.
Love,
