May the dear Lord bless you both !

Today is ‘house blessing day and this evening we’ll be visiting with my Dad as usual for a Saturday.

The weather continues to be beautiful and I don’t think there is a chance of rain til Sunday night or Monday morning. We could use a good shower, but not any thunderstorms.

Have a great day all ! Another wonderful one on the Way !

 TODAY IS ZIEFELD FOLLIES DAY

Florenz Ziegfeld was one of America greatest theatrical producers. From 1907 until his death in 1932, his Ziegfeld Follies were a highlight of New York entertainment. Famous for elaborate staging, he hired big stars like Fannie Brice, Eddie Cantor, Will Rogersand W.C. Fields. But, his trademark was the beautiful chorus line. Just as girls later dreamed of being a Rockette, girls of his day dreamed of being a Ziegfeld girl!

TODAY’S SMILE

Want to be Possible

by: Author Unknown

The teacher asked her class what each wanted to become when they grew up. A chorus of responses came from all over the room. "A football player,"

"A doctor,"

"An astronaut,"

 "The president,"

"A fireman,"

"A teacher,"

 "A race car driver."

Everyone that is, except Tommy. The teacher noticed he was sitting there quiet and still. So she said to him, "Tommy, what do you want to be when you grow up?"

"Possible" Tommy replied. "Possible?" asked the teacher.

"Yes," Tommy said. "My mom is always telling me I'm impossible. So when I get to be big, I want to be possible."

TODAY’S WORD

TODAY’S REFLECTION

How long, O lord? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me?

Psalm 13:1

Today's scripture is part of a psalm written by David in the midst of his troubles. From the time he was a child, David trusted in God. He didn't fear Goliath, for he trusted the Lord. He led his troops against the Philistines, for he trusted the Lord. Yet in this Psalm he is expressing doubt that God even remembers him.

When you are in the depths of despair and it seems that you're getting no answers to your prayers, do as David did. Remember all the times that God has come to your rescue and guided you out of sticky situations. Thank him and praise him for his help in the past. You will begin to have a hopeful attitude and think clearly.
