TODAY'S QUOTE

Worry often gives a small thing a big shadow.

Swedish Proverb

HAPPY THURSDAY !

Another Sunny day yesterday!  Not very warm though.  It was pretty windy.  I know everyone is eager to see if we'll have 6 more weeks of winter or not.  It's too early yet to know what the Groundhog said, but the calendar says it's still Winter!

Lots of flowers like our daffodils are starting to push up out of the ground around here with our mild weather, I hope they don't get frozen out!

Have a great day !  Another wonderful one on the Way !

TODAY IS...GROUNDHOG DAY!

The folklore of the groundhog and his shadow began in the 1500s with German farmers. The legend said if the groundhog saw his shadow and was frightened back into his hole, they should not plant theircrops since there would be 6 more weeks of winter.

Scientific studies over a 60 year period show the groundhog is right only 28% of the time - about the same as your tv weatherman

TODAY'S REFLECTION

We will [tell] to the generation to come, the praises of the Lord

Psalm 78:4

Jewish men fulfilled their responsibility to tell the next generation about the Lord. They had been told by their parents, who had been told by their parents

Our children need to know about God. They need to learn from us about His love, His faithfulness, and His grace. They need to hear from us about the times He stepped into our lives to protect and provide.

So gather up your sons and daughters, nieces and nephews, and grandchildren. Relate to them how God has worked in your life. Fulfill your responsibility, and tell the children.

TODAY'S ADVICE FROM THE OLD FARMER'S ALMANAC

46 DAYS UNTIL SPRING

Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your Heart

Psalm 37:4

I Love You All !!!

Be Blessed !!!
