HAPPY WEDNESDAY ! OVER THE HUMP DAY !

Today promises to be one of those nice long 10 hour days.  I should keep busy as it's payroll day, hopefully that will make the time go by faster.   After work I may just mow the front yard...finally we had enough rain to make it grow a little.  The back yard is still full of buckets and ladders, so I'm not going to try to work around that.

Our painter did spray paint our garage on Monday, a little bonus for us he said - for taking so long to get done.   All that is left is the rest of the capping around the windows and doors and a little touch up.  Hopefully he'll be out of here by the weekend.

Have a great day all !  Another wonderful one on the Way !

TODAY IS...#2 PENCIL DAY

One pencil can write 45,000 words or draw a line 35 miles long. It can write in zero gravity, upside down or under water. The "lead" is non-toxic graphite - the wood is cedar. Mass producted in Europe since 1622, the first U.S. pencils were made in 1812. And why are 75% of all pencils yellow? During the 1800s, the best graphite came from China. Yellow is the color they associate with royalty and respect. A pencil painted yellow became know as the best pencil you could buy

Without missing a beat, one little boy answered, Thou shall not kill

TODAY'S REFLECTION

He does not delight in the strengthof a horse; he takes no pleasure in the legs of a man. The Lord takes pleasure in those who fear Him, and those who hope in His mercy

Psalm 147:10-11

I hope you realize that God made you lovingly and created you as his work of art. You are special to God and he is pleased by how much you revere him and how much you hope and trust in him

God won't ask what kind of car you drove. He'll ask how many people you drove that had no ride.
God won't ask the size of your house. He'll ask how many you welcomed into your home.
God won't ask about the clothes in your closet. He'll ask how many you helped to clothe.
God won't ask what your job title was. He'll ask if you performed to the best of your ability.
God won't ask in what neighborhood you lived. He'll ask how you treated your neighbors. God won't ask why it took so long for you to seek Jesus. He'll lovingly welcome you to the heavenly kingdom

TODAY'S ADVICE FROM THE OLD FARMER'S ALMANAC
