HAPPY SUNDAY

 OFF TO CHURCH

It's Bless your Spirit Day!   I feel like that my 'spirit' needs lifting this morning ! Rainy day yesterday - I even ironed - something I always try to avoid. The 'tune up' on the lawnmower still isn't done.  I procrastinated until the rain started yesterday so today - I don't have any excuse.   It's hot , steamy and muggy here...I'm ready for the cool autumn breezes.

HAVE A GREAT DAY ANOTHER WONDERFUL ONE ON THE WAY

     TODAY IS..TALL BUILDING DAY

Throughout history, people built "up" - the ancient pyramids, the cathedrals of Europe and countless towers. Today, we build skyscrapers because they put lots of real estate in a small ground area. So, what's the tallest builing? The Petronas Towers in Malaysia win at 1,483 ft each. But, the top part of this structure is only decorative. Many people vote for the Sears Tower in Chicago because it has the highest occupied floor (1,431 ft) and the highest traditional roof -1,454 ft

 TODAY'S SMILE

  One Tough Teacher!

A school teacher injured his back and had to wear a plaster cast around
the upper part of his body. It fit under his shirt and was not noticeable at all.

On the first day of the term, still with the cast under his shirt, he found himself assigned to the toughest students in school. Walking confidently into the rowdy classroom, he opened the window as wide as
possible and then busied himself with desk work.

When a strong breeze made his tie flap, he took the desk stapler and stapled the tie to his chest.

Discipline was not a problem from that day forth

TODAY'S REFLECTION

I have loved you with an everlasting love...   Jeremiah 31:3

In God's master plan, we are the center of His attention! On the fourth day of creation, He filled the vast empty space around the earth with lights, the greater light to rule the day and the lesser light to rule the night, along with the stars (Genesis 1:14, 15). God gives us 6 reasons the heavenly bodies were created-and they are all for our benefit! He made them to divide the day from the night, for signs, for seasons, for days, for years and to give us light here on earth. Man was created last so He could bless him with a perfect earthly home

You are chosen, holy, and dearly loved by Him. There is nothing that can EVER separate you from His love, and He will never forsake you

TODAY'S ADVICE FROM THE OLD FARMER'S ALMANAC

When cutting asphalt shingles, dip your utility knife in turpentine. This will keep the shingles from binding when you cut them.
