HAPPY FINALLY FRIDAY
Yesterday I got a call from DDIL#1 letting me know that DS#1 came through his corrective eye surgery just fine ! We'll see now if he has better than 20-20 vision! This happens very often. For someone who's been wearing glasses since the 2nd grade - it is truly like a miracle. Our painter says that today is THE DAY! We won't have to look at buckets and ladders in the back yard any more ! We'll see.... I am sooooo happy the weekend is here ! I've got great plans for lots of R&R!!!
Have a great day all ! Another wonderful one on the Way!
TODAY IS..SPICY FOOD DAY
The spices in the hot foods we eat are oily. And, we all know that oil and water don't mix. So, what can you do to cool down a hot mouth? Try one of these... Eat bread - it will absorb the oily spices. Drink milk - it contains "casein" that binds the spices and carries them away

1981: The final episode of "Charlie's Angels" was broadcast on ABC-TV. The show which starred Farrah Fawcett, Kate Jackson, Jaclyn Smith and the voice of John Forsythe, went into syndication
TODAY'S SMILE
Praise The Lord!
There was a preacher that was trying to sell his horse. A potential buyer
came to the church for a test ride.
"Before you start," the preacher said, "you should know that this horse
only responds to church talk. Go is Praise the Lord; and stop is Amen."
So the man on the horse says, "Praise the Lord," and the horse starts to
trot.
The man again says, "Praise the Lord," and the horse starts to gallop.
Suddenly there is a cliff right in front of the horse and the man yells
"Amen!"
The horse stops just at the edge of the cliff.
The man wipes the sweat from his brow and says,
Praise the Lord

O Lord my God, I cried out to You, and You healed me Psalm 30:2
Sometimes it seems that our prayers are unanswered. Unfortunately we begin to doubt because God doesn't fulfill our desires. But healing is not always physical. Sometimes God's healing is in strengthening our ability to cope
