TODAY'S THOUGHT
Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around
Leo Buscaglia
TODAY'S ACTION
Create something beautiful with the intention of giving it away
TODAY'S QUOTE
God is the friend of silence. Trees, flowers and grass grow in silence. See the stars, moon, and sun, how they move in silence.
Mother Teresa

TODAY'S SMILE
Instructions for Life (not a joke, but will help bring many years of smiles )
1. Take into account that great love and great achievements involve great risk.
2. When you lose, don't lose the lesson.
3. Follow the three Rs: (A) Respect for self (B) Respect for others and (C) Responsibility for all your actions.
4. Remember that not getting what you want is sometimes a wonderful stroke of luck.
5. Learn the rules so you know how to break them properly.
6. Don't let a little dispute injure a great friendship.
7. When you realize you've made a mistake, take immediate steps to correct it.
8. Spend some time alone.
9. Open your arms to change, but don't let go of your values.
10. Remember that silence is sometimes the best answer
11. Live a good, honorable life. Then when you get older and think back, you'll be able to enjoy it a second time.
12. A loving atmosphere in your home is the foundation for your life. Do all you can to create a tranquil, harmonious home.
13. In disagreements with loved ones, deal only with the current situation. Don't bring up the past.
14. Share your knowledge. It's a way to achieve immortality.
15. Be gentle with the earth.
16. Once a year, go someplace you've never been before.
17. Remember that the best relationship is one in which your love for each other exceeds your need for each other
18. Judge your success by what you had to give up in order to get it.
19. Approach love and cooking with reckless abandon
Now here’s your joke…
Two men accepted a dare and entered, as clowns into a bull ring. They realized, after 2 minutes that the bull didn't think they were very funny and started chasing after them. As they turned tail and ran, one turned to the other and said, "Neither of us can run fast enough to make it to the wall before the bull makes it to us, so you best say a prayer."
"I don't know how to pray. I never even went to church." came the reply. "You better pray somethin, cause I'm outta breath." said the first man.
Well, the only prayer I can remember is this, "O God, for what we're about to receive, may we be truely thankful!"
In all situations: Give Thanks

TODAY'S REFLECTION
Go after a life of love as if your life depended on it–because it does.
1 Corinthians 14:1, The Message
Loosen up. Don't you have some people to hug, rocks to skip, or lips to kiss?...
Not retire from your job, just retire from your attitude. Honestly, has complaining ever made the day better? Has grumbling ever paid the bills? Has worrying about tomorrow ever changed it? Let someone else run the world for a while
