HAPPY MONDAY!
Yesterday the day started off with some wind and rain – by the time I got home from church, we had some sun peaking through the clouds ! This weather has been soooo much like Spring that it’s going to be interesting to see what February and March will bring.
The groundhog is supposed to rouse himself Feb. 2nd and I’ll bet he’ll get a surprise this year ! Here’ a link to my Groundhog’s Day Trivia Page http://hometown.aol.com/marainey1/myhomepage/writing.html
I put a picture on this page that was taken a few years ago, but it shows what it’s usually like around here in February. We’ll see…
There is Star Magnolia bush in the front yard that has huge buds on it already. I’m afraid they may get frozen out later on. For now I’ll just thank the good Lord for the nice weather and the break we’re having on the heating bill and ENJOY it !
Have a great day all ! Another wonderful one on the Way !

TODAY'S SMILE
Year after year Bubba's wife pleaded with him to take her fishing but he kept telling her she would not enjoy it. She, finally, wore him down, he consented, and early one morning they took off to the lake.
They had not been there very long when the fish began biting. Almost as fast as they cast, a fish would bite, and they reeled it in. After catching their limit, Bubba said, "Verna Lou, sweet thang, I'm sorry. You've been good luck and I'm gonna bring you with me the next time.
If you'll mark the spot where we caught all these fish, we'll go home." On the way home, Bubba turned to Verna Lou and said, "Sweet thang, how did you mark the spot where all the fish are so next time I'll know?"
"Bubba, darlin', I put a big 'X' on the side of the boat right down closest to the water."
"Sweet thang, that's about the dumbest thing I ever seen you do. Don't you know that won't work? We may not get the same boat the next time

TODAY'S REFLECTION
God is so great, greater than we can understand!
Job 36:26
We may search out the moment the first wave slapped on a shore or the first star burst in the sky, but we'll never find the first moment when God was God, for there is no moment when God was not God. He has never not been, for He is eternal. God is not bound by time
