TODAY'S THOUGHT
If you're happy in what you're doing, you'll like yourself, you'll have inner peace.
And if you have that, along with physical health, you will have had more success than you could possibly have imagined.
Johnny Carson

TODAY'S QUOTE
Anywhere is walking distance if you've got the time

HAPPY SATURDAY!
This morning I’ll be leaving for the Stroll for Epilepsy. Sign in is at 9:00 and it takes me 2 hours to get there , so I’ll be leaving here shortly after 6:30 a.m. It’ll be a long day as after the Stroll we go back to DS#1’s house for a little birthday celebration. I’ll be trying to head home about 4:30 so that it shouldn’t be late when I get home. I don’t like to drive in the dark and this way I’ll have daylight part of the way home.
I’ll try and post some pictures for you on my journal – Good Morning Sunshine !
Take good care all !
Have a great day ! Another wonderful one on the Way !
TODAY IS...KAZOO LOVERS DAY
Rumors place the origins of this instrument with the Roman military Kazoo bands that led Caesar's legions against the hordes of Vercingetorix in 52 BC. True or not, blowing on a Kazoo was the way a nobelman serenaded his lady during the Middle Ages. To make your own sweet music, just put your mouth over one end and start humming your favorite tune. The louder, the better - unless the neighbors complain

TODAY'S SMILE
My sister went to the department store to check out the bridal registry of our niece whose wedding was coming up soon. When my sister returned from the store, she tossed the gift list on a table and declared, "I think she's too young to get married."
"Why do you say that?" I asked. "Because," she said,
they registered for Nintendo games
ONE MORE…
Bernard who is noted for his gracious manners, was awakened one morning at four forty four a.m. by his ringing telephone. . . "Your dog's barking, and it's keeping me awake," said an angry voice.
Bernard thanked the caller and politely asked his name and number before hanging up. The next morning at precisely four forty four a.m., Bernard called his neighbor back.
"Good morning, Mr. Williams....
Just called to say that I don't have a dog.

TODAY'S REFLECTION
We continually remember before our God and Father your work produced by faith, your labor prompted by love, and your endurance inspired by hope in our Lord Jesus Christ.
I Thessalonians 1:3
Many times we have challenges arise that test our ability to do our work well. We don't have an immediate answer to the challenge, and it causes us to flounder around without making any progress. But notice the qualities that today's scripture mentions:
Faith, Love, and Hope
When your work is produced by faith, your labor prompted by love, your endurance inspired by hope, you can conquer any challenge that faces you.
