TODAY'S QUOTE
Expect people to be better than they are; it helps them to become better. But don't be dissapointed when they're not; it helps them to keep trying.

HAPPY SATURDAY !
Winter weather is supposed to come back today ! Snow and temps in the low 30's.
But the good news is that for the rest of the month the long range forcasters say there will be no artic blasts coming our way. We certainly had enough of those in December.
Today I'm going to try and get some painting projects lined up and started. The house is in pretty good shape and just needs a lick and a promise .
Some people have a long 3 day weekend with 'Martin Luther King Day' on Monday, but not me. Only 2 days to my weekend.
Take good care all
Have a great day ! Another wonderful one on the Way !
TODAY IS...LOVE A PIG DAY
Despite their bad rep, pigs are actually very clean intelligent animals - and picky eaters! Sure, they roll around in the mud but there is one simple reason for this... they can't sweat like people do, so rolling around in the mud (or water is good too) keeps them cool!
Studies over the past several years have revealed that pigs are one of the most intelligent animals on the planet - even smarter than dogs

Kitchen signs
You have all seen those little hand painted signs hung in so many kitchens. Many are heart warming and homey, but many are simply hilarious. Here is a collection of the funnier signs:
1) A messy kitchen is a happy kitchen and this kitchen is delirious.
2) No husband has ever been shot while doing the dishes.
3) A husband is someone who takes out the trash and gives the impression he just cleaned the whole house.
4) A balanced diet is a cookie in each hand.
5) Thou shall not weigh more than thy refrigerator.
6) Blessed are they who can laugh at themselves for they shall never cease to be amused.
7) A clean house is a sign of a misspent life.
8) Help keep the kitchen clean - eat out.
9) Housework done properly can kill you.
10) Countless number of people have eaten in this kitchen and gone on to lead normal lives.
11) My next house will have no kitchen - just vending machines.
12) The only reason I have a kitchen is because it came with the house when I bought it.
13) There are only three kinds of food - Frozen, Canned, & Take-out!
14) This is a self-cleaning kitchen. Please clean up after yourself.
