TODAY'S QUOTE

A smile is the curve that sets all things straight

Phyllis Diller

HAPPY TUESDAY!

Yesterday was a beautiful day ! We have been blessed with so many of them lately!

Work was slow and I’m hoping it picks up soon--my busy work is down to cleaning out old files and I dislike that job very much.

Today is supposed to bring cooler weather and perhaps rain/snow mix. But tomorrow it is going to warm back up in the mid 40’s again.

Have a great day all ! Another wonderful one on the Way !

TODAY IS...SCOTCH TAPE DAY!

In 1921, a banjo playing inventor went to work for the Minnesota Mining and Manufacturing Company, known as 3M. Four years later, Richard Drew walked out of his lab carrying the first roll of scotch tape. In 1930, he also created cellophane tape. Without this man, we'd still be wrapping up our Christmas packages with rope

TODAY'S REFLECTION

But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve… But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord

Joshua 24:15

Joshua had led the people into the land of milk and honey, just as God had promised. Now Joshua was very old and knew that his life would soon be over. He reminded the people of all the times that God had helped them in their struggle to be free. Then he gave them a choice, to serve God or not.

When I say... 'I am a Christian,'

I don't speak of this with pride.

I'm confessing that I stumble

And need Christ to be my guide

Dr. Maya Angelou
