TODAY'S QUOTE
People are always blaming their circumstances for what they are. The people who get on in this world are they who get up and look for the circumstances they want, and, if they can't find them, make them.
George Bernard Shaw

TODAY'S SMILE
One day a woman came home and realized she was in the process of being robbed. She saw the thief running toward the back door with his loot. She wanted to say something to him before he left. So as he headed out the door she yelled out, "Acts 2:38!" At least she would be able to give the thief a Bible verse to ponder over.
Well the man stopped dead in his tracts, put down his loot and stood still with his hands up. The woman called the police and told them everything that happened. One of the police officers asked the robber, "You know, it's not that we mind at all that you stopped, that makes things easier for us, but why in the world did you stay?" The thief replied, "It's because of what she yelled at me as I was leaving."
The officer replied, "Well, all she did was yell out some scripture," he said after he placed handcuffs on the man. The thief looked horrified and mad, Scripture? I thought she had an axe and two 38's

TODAY'S REFLECTION
This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. If we claim to have fellowship with him yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live by the truth. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin
1 John 1:7-9
What do you allow to prevent you from assembling with other Christians to worship Jesus? Is it something that truly "prevents" you or do you merely "allow" it to interfere with your assembling with your brothers and sisters? Do you truly pray for your enemies?
How excited are you about giving praise to God?
Here in the United States we have religious freedom – others do not. Our forefathers founded this country so that we could have this freedom and I for one am so thankful!
