HAPPY TUESDAY!

I got an e-mail from DDIL#2 and after many trials, and a hurricane Son #2 got his military advancement and I put a picture of him up on my journal page.  Congrats!!! We are all very proud of this accomplishment! He looks very handsome in his new uniform.  They are doing well and are beginning to get back to semi-normal but their babes can't come yet.  They couldn't even go out to celebrate because no restuarants are open.    I'm praying for all those still trying to recover from the terrible devastation along the Gulf Coast.

 Take good care all !

Have a great day ! Another wonderful one on the Way !

TODAY IS...BIRTH OF THE SUN DAY

The Incas always celebrated the Birth Of The Sun on September 20th. The sun is the largest object in our solar system and is about 4.6 billion years old. Cultures that practiced sun worship down through history were usually agrarian societies. When men became farmers, they were dependent on daily and seasonal changes in the weather. The sun was the great force that regulated these changes — the light and heat they needed for their crops

  TODAY'S SMILE

A mother skunk was always in a panic because she couldn't keep track of her two tiny ones. One was named Out and the other In. When Out was in, In was out. One day she saw Out but couldn't find In. She told Out to go out and bring In in. In about twenty seconds, Out brought In in. Surprised, the mother skunk asked, "How did you find him so fast?" The tiny skunk answered, It was easy. In stinct

TODAY'S REFLECTION

Through the Lord's mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning, great is Your faithfulness   Lamentations 3:22-24

When we worry, we waste time. Today's scripture tells us why.

The Lord is merciful. God has promised to take care of us.

His compassions are new every morning. We have to be open to receive them.

Great is his faithfulness. We can look back on our lives and remember the many times that he has cared for us.

If you are in the throes of difficulties, no matter how distant it may seem, there is light at the end of the tunnel. Believe this!  Great is his faithfulness!
