TODAY'S THOUGHT

Take the first step in faith. You don't have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step   Martin Luther King, Jr.

   TODAY'S ACTION

Always look to the good you can do in every situation

TODAY'S QUOTE

Change does not necessarily assure progress, but progress implacably requires change. Education is essential to change, for education creates both new wants and the ability to satisfy them

Henry Steele Commager

   HAPPY MONDAY!

Happy Labor Day   I'm glad and thankful for a job to go to.  When I think about all the people with out one and  I'm sorry for all the times I hated to have to go to work.  Why does it take something terrible happening to remind us of how blessed we are???  The good Lord sure does shake us up every now and then.

Today I'm working on the gifts that will need to be done for the coming birthdays in my family. DD and her hubby will probably be by later for a visit . I had a great day yesterday with the campers and will post pictures on my journal page-GOOD MORNING SUNSHINE.

Have a great day !  Another wonderful one on the Way !

 TODAY IS...HOUSEKEEPERS DAY !

Without housekeepers our lives would be in chaos, and our homes would be like messy little pig pens!
HURRAY FOR HOUSEKEEPERS!
A day is not enough - lets give em' a whole month! Maybe even a whole year!

And if you do your own housekeeping, pat yourself on the back - and take the day off

 TODAY'S SMILE

Tom had never been on a fishing boat before, and he was now thinking it was the most stupid thing he'd ever done in his life. Who would ever have believed that seasickness could be this awful? With every pitch and roll, Tom wondered how he was going to survive the remaining two hours of the trip.

One of the deckhands came up to him and said, "Don't worry, young fella. Nobody ever died of seasickness."

"You've just taken away my last hope for relief," Tom said

ONE MORE...

An exasperated mother, whose son was always getting into mischief, finally asked him, "How do you expect to get into heaven?"

The boy thought it over and said, "Well, I'll just run in and out, and in and out, and keep slamming the door until St. Peter says, For heaven's sake, Jimmy, either come in or stay out

TODAY'S WORD

 idiosyncratic

Pronunciation: /id-ee-oh-sin-KRAT-ic/
adj : of or pertaining to a peculiar individual trait

His idiosyncratic sleeping hours makes you wonder how he functions at work

  TODAY'S REFLECTION

Great is our Lord, and mighty in power; His understanding is infinite   Psalm 147:5

One of the beautiful sights of nature is a mother bird settled with her nestlings in the nest. The psalmist tells us that God lovingly cares for each of us, if we come to him, believing and surrendering our lives to his care

TODAY'S ADVICE FROM THE OLD FARMER'S ALMANAC   Store spices and dried herbs away from the stove--they'll lose flavor near heat and steam

 17 DAYS UNTIL AUTUMN

Delight yourself in the Lord
and He will give you the desires of your Heart
Psalm 37:4

I Love You All !!!   Be Blessed !!!   Ma
