TODAY’S QUOTE

The love we give away is the only love we keep.

Elbert Hubbard (1856 - 1915)

HAPPY WEDNESDAY !!

OVER THE HUMP DAY

Here we are mid-week already. The great thing is that I’m off on Friday for a vacation day so tomorrow is my last day of work this week.

I heard from DS#6 this evening and they are planning on visiting with us on Saturday at the campground. He loves camping too and this will be their first visit to see our new campsites. Hopefully the sun will shine for us.

Today should be a busy one at work. Hopefully it’ll go by quickly.

Have a great day all ! Another wonderful one on the Way !

TODAY’S PRAYERS

Please pray for God's protection of our troops and HIS wisdom for their commanders.

Lord, hold our troops in your loving hands. Protect them as they protect us. Bless them and their families for the selfless acts they perform for us in our time of need. I ask this in the name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.

25 WORDS

God, I thank You for today, for the ways You will bless me, and for the ways that I will serve others in Your name

TO REMEMBER…

I am in the hands of God, and in God’s time all things will be made well.

TODAY IS…TUBA PLAYERS DAY

Tuba (Latin for "trumpet") is the lowest pitched of the brass wind instruments. It was patented in 1835 by the Prussian bandmaster Friedrich Wieprecht and the German builder Johann Moritz. A variation was created by German composer Richard Wagner for his Ring cycle of operas - and John Philip Sousa comissioned a version for his march music that is now called the sousaphone. While the basic design remains the same, the number of different types of tubas today is amazing

Helping his wife wash the dishes, a minister protested, "This isn't a man s job." Oh yes, it is, his wife retorted, quoting 2 Kings 21:13: "I will wipe Jerusalem as a man wipeth a dish, wiping it, and turning it upside down."

You may want to stop here before going on to the answer.

Answer: Defeat of deduct went over defense before detail. :)

(De feet of de duck went over de fence before de tail)

TODAY’S REFLECTION

There is joy in the presence of the angels of God when one sinner changes his heart and life.

Luke 15:10

Our faith is not in religion; our faith is in God. A hardy, daring faith that believes God will do what is right, every time. And that God will do what it takes—whatever it takes—to bring His children home.

He is the shepherd in search of his lamb. His legs are scratched, his feet are sore and his eyes are burning. He scales the cliffs and traverses the fields.

He explores the caves.

He cups his hands to his mouth and calls into the canyon. And the name he calls is yours.

He is the housewife in search of the lost coin. No mater that he has nine others, he won’t rest until he has found the tenth. He searches the house. He moves furniture…All other tasks can wait.

Only one matters. The coin is of great value to him. He owns it. He will not stop until he finds it. The coin he seeks is you.
