My advice to you is not to inquire why
But just enjoy your ice cream
While it’s on your plate
That’s my philosophy

HAPPY SATURDAY !
The weekend is finally here and it’s going to be a cool one ! It was down in the upper 40’s last night. Today we’ll be in the mid 60’s. It’s comfortable in the house, and I guess that’s what counts. I don’t have to turn on either the a/c or the furnace
I’ll be doing the usual ‘house blessing’ today and visiting my Dad later. Looks like a nice ‘ordinary’ day ahead.
Remember laughing everyday is good for you !
Even if you have to laugh at yourself!
Have a great day all ! Another wonderful one on the Way !
TODAY IS ICED TEA DAY
Iced tea was invented by accident in 1905. It was a hot day at the World's Fair in St. Louis, Missouri, and Richard Blechynden's tea concession was not doing well. Thinking quickly, he added ice and created a beverage that has become an American favorite. Almost any tea you like can be poured over ice, but some teas change pH levels in cold water. If youriced tea gets cloudy, just slice up some citrus fruit and add it to your glass. Lemons, limes or oranges will balance the acid content.
SUN TEA RECIPE
1. Place 3 family size (or 9 regular size) tea bags in a clean one gallon Suntea jar.
2. Add cold water to fill.
3. Cap the jar loosely and place in hot sunshine for 3 - 4 hours to brew.
4. Remove tea bags.
5. Flavor and sweeten to taste with sugar, fruit juice or sweetener.
6. Refrigerate unused portion within 5 hours of brewing.
**Remember: because this tea is not brewed with boiling water, it should be served within 48 hours.
Now don't forget to Frost the glasses. You do this by putting the glasses in the freezer before serving the tea.
Take a loooong cool sip
And have a Chill-out time this summer!
HAVE A BEAU-TEA-FUL DAY !

TODAY’S SMILE
A man and his wife were having some problems at home and were giving each other the silent treatment. The next week the man realized that he would need his wife to wake him at 5:00 a.m. for an early flight to Sydney.
Not wanting to be the first to break the silence, he finally wrote on a piece of paper, "Please wake me at 5:00 a.m.". The next morning the man woke up, only to discover it was 9:00 a.m., and that he had missed his flight.
Furious, he was about to go and see why his wife hadn't woken him when he noticed a piece of paper by the bed....it said .... "It's 5:00 a.m., wake up."

Everything I Need to Know about Life
I Learned from a Jigsaw Puzzle!
1. Don't force a fit--if something is meant to be, it will come together naturally.
2. When things aren't going so well, take a break. Everything will look different when you return.
3. Be sure to look at the big picture. Getting hung up on the little pieces only leads to frustration.
4. Perseverance pays off. Every important puzzle went together bit by bit, piece by piece.
5. When one spot stops working, move to another. But be sure to come back later (see #4).
6. The creator of the puzzle gave you the picture as a guidebook. Refer to the Creator's guidebook often.
7. Variety is the spice of life. It's the different colors and patterns that make the puzzle interesting.
8. Working together with friends and family makes any task fun.
9. Establish the border first. Boundaries give a sense of security and order.
10. Don't be afraid to try different combinations. Some matches are surprising.
11. Take time often to celebrate your successes (even little ones).
12. Anything worth doing takes time and effort. A great puzzle can't be rushed.
13. When you finally reach the last piece, don't be sad. Rejoice in the masterpiece you've made and enjoy a well-deserved rest.

TODAY’S REFLECTION
For some time [the unjust judge] refused. But finally he said to himself, 'Even though I don't fear God or care about men, yet because this widow keeps bothering me, I will see that she gets justice, so that she won't eventually wear me out with her coming!'
Luke 18:4-5
Jesus told the story of a widow coming again and again to an unjust judge, begging for justice. The judge cared nothing for anyone, but her determination caused him to finally give her the justice she sought.
We often give up too soon
If you have an idea that will be beneficial and you meet with obstacles, ask God to strengthen your courage and determination to try, try again! Where there is will, there is power
