TODAY IS…HARP MUSIC DAY

The harp is one of the oldest stringed instruments. They can be seen in Egyptian tomb paintings and are part of many legends and folklore. During the middle ages, they were about 28" high - small enough to be carried around by troubadours as they traveled the countryside. By the 17th century, they were much larger instuments with a stronger sound and more strings. Harps are regaining popularity today as people rediscover the unique sound of Celtic music.

TODAY’S SMILE

I Learned From a Cow

Don’t just be one of the herd

Wake up in a happy mooo-d

Some days can be udder frustration

Munch hay while the sun shines

Live for-heifer young

Party til the cows come home

Don’t cry over spilled milk

The cream always rises to the top

Don’t stoop to a barnyard mentality

Turn the udder cheek and mooo-ve on

Don’t be bossy

If it’s good milk it for all it’s worth

If you need to get somewhere, hoof it

Successful people are the mooo-vers and shakers

Don’t take any bull from anybody

Following your heart will always steer you in the right direction

He who lives with the herd learns to watch his step

Sometimes it’s better to be seen and not herd

And ... Don't forget to cow-nt your blessings every day

TODAY’S WORD

divers

Pronunciation: /DIE-verz/

 adj : several, various, sundry

We have divers ways to solve the problem.

TODAY’S REFLECTION

And why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these.

Matthew 6:28-29

Jesus used the beautiful lilies as an example of God's loving care. When we allow ourselves to get caught up in the worries of the world, we block the channels through which God can give us discernment and wisdom

From Daily Guideposts

TODAY’S ADVICE FROM THE OLD FARMER’S ALMANAC

Use a little mineral oil on a cotton ball to polish patent leather shoes.

88 DAYS UNTIL AUTUMN

Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your Heart

Psalm 37:4

I Love You All !!!

Be Blessed !!!
