TODAY’S QUOTE
The way I see it, if you want the rainbow, you gotta put up with the rain.

HAPPY FINALLY FRIDAY
Yesterday was a day of more thunder storms. The sun did peep out part of the day and made it very steamy. I haven’t turned on the a/c yet this week, but may have to today.
As usual there are no big plans for the weekend here. It will be the ‘ordinary’ stuff…which is always a good thing.
Take good care all !
Have a great day ! Another wonderful one on the Way !
TODAY IS…SOAP OPERA DAY
Daytime tv came from radio serials - along with the advertisers who targeted housewives. Soaps never begin and never end. They are slow paced so you can miss episodes. But, the biggest reason they are so popular is their reliance on dialogue. This is done so people can can listen to the audio portion without even watching the television set and still understand the story. Just like radio!

TODAY’S SMILE
father took his little seven-year-old boy fishing with him one day. They put out the trotline and then went up to the cabin. After an hour they went back down to the river to see if they had caught anything. Sure enough, there were several fish on the line.
"I knew there would be, daddy," said the boy. "How did you know?" asked the father. "Because I prayed about it," said the child. So they baited the hooks again and put out the line and went back to the cabin for supper.
Afterward they went back to the river; again, there were fish on the line.
"I knew it," said the boy. "And how?" asked his father. "I prayed again."
So they put the line back out into the river and went to the cabin. Before bedtime they went down again. This time there were no fish.
"I knew there wouldn't be," said the child. "How did you know?" asked the father. "Because," said the boy, "I didn't pray about it this time."
"And why didn't you?" asked his father. "Because," said the boy, "I remembered that we forgot to bait the hooks."

TODAY’S REFLECTION
For God so love the world that he gave His one and only Son that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
John 3:16
God's love is so unforgettable that when trials come up we forget how He can help us through our trials. When we think back on how he has helped us completely we need to know and think on that HE can help us everyday in the future
