TODAY'S THOUGHT

Vitality shows in not only the ability to persist but the ability to start over.   F. Scott Fitzgerald

TODAY'S ACTION

flowers or the weeds. I can see the
bright side or look for the clouds.

We can always find joy in a new beginning

TODAY'S QUOTE

Don't walk behind me I will not lead, don't walk in front of me I will not follow, just walk beside me and be my friend

HAPPY WEDNESDAY ! OVER THE HUMP DAY

Lots of 'thunder boomers' came through our area yesterday evening and  cleared the air a little.  It's supposed to be in the 70's today and sunny.  (Great painting weather , I think !)   As of right now the painters  are a little bit less than half way through.

TODAY IS...THE COW JUMPED OVER THE MOON DAY !

This is the night each year when legend says cows get really jumpy

TODAY'S SMILE

  Lost In Seattle!

A helicopter was flying around above Seattle when an electrical
malfunction disabled all of the aircraft's electronic navigation and communications equipment. Due to the clouds and haze, the pilot could not determine the helicopter's position and course to steer to the airport.

The pilot saw a tall building, flew toward it, circled, drew a handwritten sign, and held it in the helicopter's window. The pilot's sign said, 'WHERE AM I?' in large letters.

People in the tall building quickly responded to the aircraft, drew a large sign, and held it in a building window. Their sign said, 'YOU ARE IN A HELICOPTER.'

The pilot smiled, waved, looked at his map, determined the course to steer to SEATAC airport, and landed safely.

After they were on the ground, the copilot asked the pilot how the 'YOU ARE IN A HELICOPTER' sign helped determine their position.

The pilot responded, I knew that had to be the MICROSOFT building because they gave me a technically correct,
but completely useless answer

John and Nancy were married for 40 years and decided they wanted to renew their vows and planned a second wedding. They were discussing the details with their friends. Nancy wasn't going to wear a traditional bridal gown and she started describing the dress she was planning to wear. One of her friends asked what color shoes she had to go with the dress. Nancy replied, "Silver."

At that point, John chimed in, "Yep silver - - to match her hair."

Shooting a glaring look at John's bald spot, Nancy's friend said,
So John, I guess you are going barefoot

TODAY'S REFLECTION

God can bless you with everything you need, and you will always have more than enough to do all kinds of good things for others.   II Corinthians 9:8

Many of us go through life whining about our problems and inadequacies. In so doing, we miss out on life's abundance. Our verse tells us that God wants us to do good for others. When we trust God and think about helping a neighbor, we stop focusing on ourselves. Many of us believe God's promise, yet are halfhearted in our response   We have every reason to be enthusiastic, for we have God's promise to give us more than enough

TODAY'S ADVICE FROM THE OLD FARMER'S ALMANAC

Fresh grass clippings make excellent garden mulch. (Don't bunch clippings too heavily around young plants, as the grass can burn tender stalks.)

  57 DAYS UNTIL AUTUMN !

Delight yourself in the Lord
and He will give you the desires of your Heart
Psalm 37:4

I Love You All !!!

  Be Blessed !!!
