TODAY'S THOUGHT
See how nature--trees, flowers, grass--grows in silence; see the stars, the moon and the sun, how they move in silence. . . . We need silence to be able to touch souls. Mother Teresa

TODAY IS...DEVILED EGG DAY !
What's a picnic without deviled eggs? These little delights are always the first to disappear from any table. And we all know somebody who is famous for their deviled eggs. So, where did they get their name? It's because they are always made with mustard!
Recipe for Deviled Eggs
6 eggs
2 tablespoons mayonnaise, sour cream or plain yogurt
3/4 teaspoon yellow mustard
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice or pickle juice (OPTIONAL)
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
Paprika
1. Place eggs in a cold pan of water. Bring the water to a boil. Cover the pan with a tight fitting lid and turn off the heat. Let the eggs sit for 30 minutes to cook. Put the pan in the sink and run cold water over the eggs before peeling to keep the shells from sticking.
2. Cut the eggs in half lengthwise and take out the yolk with a small spoon. Place the egg yolks in a bowl and the whites on a plate.
3. Mash the yolks with fork. Stir in the remaining ingredients until well blended. Refill the whites, using about 1 tablespoon of yolk mixture for each egg half. Sprinkle with paprika and chill to blend the flavors.

You are sitting behind the wheel in a car keeping a constant speed, on you left side there is an abyss. On your right side you have a fire engine and it keeps the same speed as you. In front of you runs a pig, larger than you car. A helicopter is following you, at ground level. Both the helicopter and the pig are keeping the same speed as you. What will you need to do to be able to stop? The children's merry-go-round in the amusement park is primarily for the younger children.

TODAY'S REFLECTION
Wisdom is like honey for your life . If you find it, your future is bright. Proverbs 24:14
Someone has said, “a single conversation across the table with a wise person is worth a month's study of books." And when that person loves the Lord, he or she passes on knowledge of God’s wisdom. And sometimes a young person will listen to a mentor more closely than to a parent. It is important for children to have wise and godly guidance, so that when they gain their education, they also have the wisdom to use it well.
