HAPPY FINALLY FRIDAY !
After our early morning shower yesterday, the sun did come out and the painter did return -- only for about 2 hours, but he got painted what he had taped and papered the day before. It looks very nice ! Now we just wait and see how much more sunshine we have and hope he works for more than 2 hours in one day !
We have meetings for safety at work this morning from 7-9 and then a meeting for our 401K plan after that ! It certainly will be different having everyone in the office...I'm usually there by myself !
Have a great day all ! Another wonderful one on the way !
TODAY IS...LIONS SHARE DAY
This popular expression comes from an an Aesop fable. A lion, a cow, a sheep and a goat form a hunting party. They kill a deer, and the lion divides it into four equal parts. He takes three of the parts (the lion's share) and lets the others divide one. Sounds like a pig to me!

TODAY'S SMILE
A man always carryied an umbrella. One by one, he broke each one he owned until six useless ones were in his umbrella stand.
One morning, he took the umbrellas into the city and left them at a repair shop. On the bus going home, out of pure habit, he picked up the umbrella that belonged to the woman sitting next to him.
She yelled, “Stop, thief,” and he gave her the umbrella very embarrassed.
The next week, he picked up the umbrellas at the repair shop. When he got on the bus with them, he happened to sit next to the same woman. He didn't recognize her, but she recognized him.
Giving him an icy stare, she said,
Had a good day, huh
one more...
A porter loaded down with suitcases followed the couple to the airline check-in counter.
As they approached the line, the husband glanced at the pile of luggage and said to the wife, "Why didn't you bring the piano, too?"
"Are you trying to be funny?" she replied.
"No, I really wish you had" he sighed.
I left the tickets on it

TODAY'S REFLECTION
What do you think? If the man has a hundred sheep, and one of them goes astray, does he not leave the ninety- nine and go to the mountains to seek the one that is straying
Matthew 18:12
Jesus' parable in today's scripture explains the kind of love that God has for his children. Jesus goes on to say that when the shepherd finds the lost sheep, he rejoices more over that sheep than over the ninety-nine that didn't go astray. Jesus is telling us that our Father loves us in spite of all our defects and weaknesses. He is constantly calling us to come back into the fold. If we truly love our neighbor as Jesus loves us, we look for the good things in even the unlovable. When we reach out a helping hand instead of pointing a finger, we may be helping a lamb that has strayed from the flock
