TODAY’S QUOTE

Are you rich?

Think about it...

friendships are priceless,

time is invaluable,

health is wealth,

and love is a treasure.

HAPPY FINALLY FRIDAY !!

We had more rain and thunder storms yesterday. At least that kept the temps down so it didn’t get hot here at all. Today and all through the weekend it’s supposed to be very nice. Mid 80’s and sunny!

This week has gone by pretty fast and that is good because now the weekend is here once again. It would be nice if time would slow down for these two days, but it won’t.

Weekends always fly by.

Have a great day all ! Another wonderful one on the Way !

Please pray for God's protection of our troops and HIS wisdom for their commanders.

Lord, hold our troops in your loving hands. Protect them as they protect us. Bless them and their families for the selfless acts they perform for us in our time of need. I ask this in the name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.

25 WORDS

God, I thank You for today, for the ways You will bless me, and for the ways that I will serve others in Your name

TODAY IS…TAKE AN ASPIRIN DAY

Throughout history, people used a powder made from the bark of willow trees to treat a fever. We now know the bark contains salicylic acid. Aspirin is a man-made variety of this same thing. It was first made in France in 1853, but it was 40 more years before it was available to the public. In 1893, a young German working for Bayer, made it to try to help his father's arthritis. Bayer quickly put it on the market as a pain killer. Today, it is the most widely used medication in the world.

TODAY’S SMILE

A Smile is nature's best antidote for discouragement.

o It brings rest to the weary,

o Sunshine to those who are frowning,

o And hope to those who are hopeless and defeated.

o A Smile is so valuable that it can't be bought, Begged, borrowed, or taken away against your will.

o You have to be willing to give a Smile away, Before it can do anyone else any good.

o So, if someone is too tired or grumpy to flash you a Smile, Let him have one of yours anyway.

o Nobody needs a Smile as much, As the person who has none to give....

o Smile your smile for today...

Pass it on to someone...

Who needs some sunshine on a cloudy day...

o Remember, No matter how bad it seems at the time, It shall pass in a few moments, And.....

o A Smile is simply a frown upside down...

o So, stand on your head and look in the mirror...

o Once you see how silly you look... a frown turns into Smile...

2. Marked by procrastination or delay; intended to cause delay; -- said of actions or measures.

TODAY’S REFLECTION

How shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?

Romans 10:14

Spreading the gospel isn’t just the responsibility of Bible teachers and pastors. All who know Jesus can share on a personal level with friends, co-workers, family members, and strangers. It’s our privilege and duty. Otherwise, how will people “believe in Him of whom they have not heard?”
