TODAY'S THOUGHT

Nothing can stop the man with the right mental attitude from achieving his goal; nothing on earth can help the man with the wrong mental attitude.

Thomas Jefferson

TODAY’S ACTION

Learn wisdom from failure

TODAY’S QUOTE

Heaven goes by favor, if it went by merit, you would stay out, and your dog would go in.

Mark Twain

HAPPY SUPER SATURDAY !!

I hope you all are enjoying a slow start this Saturday morning. It’s always nice to have the weekend to get all those things done that we can’t do during the week. I’ve got lots to do, but don’t know just how much will actually be accomplished.

Sometimes when there is so much, it’s hard to know where to start. I won’t dilly dally around trying to decide, I’ll just pick the most important and go from there.

One of the important things I do every day is pray. I’ve been praying for a friend’s great granddaughter and have asked you all to pray too. I received this picture of her recently and wanted to share it with you

She is now sucking her thumb which is a very good sign they say. She is doing much better but is still in the hospital and still needs those prayers.

Have a great day all ! Another wonderful one on the Way !

Please pray for God's protection of our troops and HIS wisdom for their commanders.

Lord, hold our troops in your loving hands. Protect them as they protect us. Bless them and their families for the selfless acts they perform for us in our time of need. I ask this in the name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.

25 WORDS

God, I thank You for today, for the ways You will bless me, and for the ways that I will serve others in Your name

TODAY IS…CHEESE LOVERS DAY

Cheese dates back to prehistoric times. Somebody noticed that milk left in a container finally curdled - and faster in hot weather than cold. This was also probably the first scientific discovery by man. There are hundreds of different kinds of cheese - raw, skimmed or pasteurised - cow, goat, sheep, buffalo, horse or camel. All of them are good

TODAY’S SMILE

Cowboy Joe was telling his fellow cowboys back on the ranch about his first visit to a big-city church.

"When I got there, they had me park my old truck in the corral," Joe began. "You mean the parking lot," interrupted Charlie, a more worldly fellow.

"I walked up the trail to the door," Joe continued. "The sidewalk to the door," Charlie corrected him.

"Inside the door, I was met by this dude," Joe went on. "That would be the usher," Charlie explained.

"Well, the usher led me down the chute," Joe said. "You mean the aisle," Charlie said.

"Then, he led me to a stall and told me to sit there,"Joe continued. "Pew,"

Charlie retorted. "Yeah," recalled Joe. "That's what that pretty lady said when I sat down beside her."

 TODAY’S REFLECTION

In humility [correct] those who are in opposition.

2 Timothy 2:25

Caring for people can be risky. Paul described what it takes to help those who, in perilous times, have wandered from the path of truth.

He offers no ingenious device for helping those who are a danger to themselves and others (2 Tim. 2:23,25). Instead, he reminds us that when it comes to caring for the minds and hearts of others, we can’t rely on human ingenuity and muscle.

What we really need is the wisdom of God. Without being quarrelsome or arrogant, the Lord’s servant must use gentleness and patience (v.24).

Use caution and grace when straightening out someone who has strayed
