HAPPY WEDNESDAY !

Here we are halfway through the week already.

Monday night was trick or treat,

Tuesday night was All Saints Day Mass after work,

and tonight is the St. Clare prayer group at the Wellspring.

I don’t thing there is anything after work Thursday or Friday. I do like it when the work week speeds by !

Have a great day all ! Another wonderful one on the Way !

TODAY IS...PIGGY BANK DAY

During the Middle Ages, metal was expensive and rarely used for household utensils. They used orange clay called "pygg" to make dishes, pots and jars. And when people saved money at home, they put it in a "pygg jar". The name stuck long after the orange clay was forgotten. By the 18th century in England, the pygg jar had become the pig jar or pig bank. Eventually, potters cast the pig bank in the shape of this common name

TODAY'S SMILE

Things we can learn from a dog…

Never pass up the opportunity to go for a joyride.

Allow the experience of fresh air and the wind in your face to be pure ecstasy.

When loved ones come home, always run to greet them.

When it's in your best interest, practice obedience.

Let others know when they've invaded your territory.

Take naps and stretch before rising.

Run, romp and play daily.

Eat with gusto and enthusiasm.

Be loyal.

Never pretend to be something you're not.

If what you want lies buried, dig until you find it.

When someone is having a bad day, be silent, sit close by and nuzzle them gently.

Thrive on attentionand let people touch you.

Avoid biting when a simple growl will do.

On hot days, drink lots of water and lay under a shady tree.

When you're happy, dance around and wag your entire body.

No matter how often you're scolded, don't buy into the guilt thing and pout...run right back and make friends.

Delight in the simple joy of a long walk.

TODAY'S WORD

dis-cur-sive adjective

 1. Covering a wide field of subjects; rambling.

2. Proceeding to a conclusion through reason rather than intuition

 TODAY'S REFLECTION

If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there.' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.

Matthew 17:20

It is not our faith that will move the mountain; it is the power of God. Our faith, however, is necessary. There is tremendous power in a little faith when God is with us. If you are facing a mountain of difficulties, turn your eyes away from the mountain. Look instead at Christ

We believe the task ahead of us is never as great as the Power behind us.
