ON THE BRIGHT SIDE

NOVEMBER 3RD, 2005

TODAY'S THOUGHT

The earth has music for those who listen

William Shakespeare

TODAY'S ACTION

Be sensitive to the messages of hope that greet you

TODAY'S QUOTE

The ideas that have lighted my way and, time after time,

have given me new courage to face life cheerfully

have been Kindness, Beauty, and Truth.

Albert Einstein

HAPPY THANKFULLY THURSDAY !

I’m thankful for the days of Sunshine we’re having this week. Today it may even reach 70 degrees! Northern Ohio trees are now seeing their peak color, it’s just beautiful outside. Course my little tree in the front is bare, but most all the rest are really showing off ! In just a few short weeks they’ll all be bare and the only green we’ll be seeing will be the pine trees. If I get a chance, I’ll be taking some pictures for you, maybe this weekend will be good.

Take good care all !

Have a great day ! Another wonderful one on the Way!

TODAY IS...SANDWICH DAY !

We honor John Montague, born in 1718, the Fourth Earl of Sandwich. Said to have been an avid gambler, he invented the sandwich as a time-saving way to eat while involved in a 24 hour card playing session. We like them because there are no dirty dishes

TODAY'S SMILE

To help a friend lose weight, I told her that she should switch to lower-fat foods, including skim milk. When she said her family would drink only whole milk, I suggested that she keep their regular container and refill it with skim milk. This worked for quite a while, until her daughter asked one morning whether the milk was okay. "Sure, it's fine," my friend answered, fearing she had been found out. "Why do you ask?" The daughter explained, Well, according to the expiration date, this milk expired two years ago

 AND FROM THE NEWS…

The Federal Reserve, still concerned about inflation, raised a key interest rate another quarter point on Tuesday. This means anyone with at least three million dollars in savings can still afford to drive an SUV... ...

to Canada to buy prescription drugs

TODAY'S WORD

hydrosphere Pronunciation: /HY-druh-sfir/

n : all the water on the earth's surface, including oceans, lakes, rivers, etc., and sometimes including the water vapor in the atmosphere

It is the hydrosphere that is responsible for life on earth

TODAY'S REFLECTION

Trust the Lord and his mighty power

 Psalm 105:4

It is ironic that we are quick to trust the doctor and his prescription for our healing; quick to get a taxi and trust that the driver will take us where we ask; quick to trust the pilot of a plane we board, yet we often fail to put our unconditional trust in the Lord.

TODAY'S ADVICE FROM THE OLD FARMER'S ALMANAC

If trees show buds in November, the winter will last until May

48 DAYS UNTIL WINTER

Delight yourself in the Lord and

He will give you the desires of your Heart

Psalm 37:4

I Love You All !!!

Be Blessed !!!
