HAPPY WEDNESDAY !

Off to work this morning with a new look! My silver curls are delightful. I won’t say I look as good as Phyllis Diller, but my head is bigger! No pictures yet , as my camera batteries need charging, but soon.

Over the Hump day !

I ‘m going to have to make up for taking off yesterday evening to have the hair do and spend 2 hours in the craft room tonight.

Have a great day all ! Another wonderful one on the Way !

TODAY IS...NEON SIGN DAY

Neon is an inert, gas. British chemists Sir William Ramsey and Morris Travers discovered the element in the atmosphere in 1898 and named it neon for the Greek word that means "new". Little or no use was made of neon until l910 when Georges Claude experimented with passing an electrical charge through the neon gas. He received a patent for the Neon Sign on this day in 1911. Las Vegas is so glad he did

TODAY'S SMILE

PASS THIS NOTE ON …DO NOT DISCARD

This note has been sent to you for no particular reason. The original is in some place on my desk I think. It has been around the world once. You will receive average luck within four days after receiving this letter and should send it on if the mood strikes you.

Send this note to people that you think should get it, only if you find the time. Do not send money to these people, unless you owe them some cash from the bar or last weeks lunch.

DO NOT KEEP THIS NOTE unless you want your luck to remain the same, otherwise it will remain the same. A Pan American Officer got this note and forwarded it on, 3 days later he found his TV remote in the same place he left it before embarking on a flight!

While in the Philippines, a man lost his wife in the supermarket for 15 minutes because he did not send this letter on. Please send 20 copies of this letter to various people and see what happens. It might amaze you!!! But then again I doubt it will.

Do note that Joe Williams of Hicksville Ohio received this letter and sent it on to his friends, 5 days latter he found his car keys in a coat he hadn't worn since the day before!

Last fall this letter was received by a lady in California... she placed the note in a folder in her e-mail box and failed to forward it on in time... she was plagued with every day problems... the same ones that always struck her... she the realized that she never sent this note on, after doing so she bought a new car!

TODAY'S REFLECTION

Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life

Proverbs 4:23

If we fill our mind and heart with anxiety over upcoming events, we'll experience unpleasant days and sleepless nights. But if we fill our mind and heart with Christ, we’ll experience vitality, enthusiasm and hope. When you are weighed down by debt, a loved one's death, or illness, it is difficult to discipline yourself to think only positive thoughts. That is when knowledge of God's Word can be very helpful, for you can remind yourself of favorite scripture verses whenever negative thoughts and emotions emerge.

Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there's anything praiseworthy -- meditate on these things -- and the God of peace will be with you

Philippians 4:8-9
