HAPPY FRIDAY !

It’s not supposed to be as cold or windy today ! We did not get any s n o w yesterday. They kept saying on the radio that there was still a chance but by evening the sun had come out and the winds died down. I did wear my big red coat that is down filled though and was thankful for its warmth.

This evening I’ll be continuing on my quest to get 1/3rd done with my Christmas gifts, by the end of this coming week-end I’m supposed to be 2/3rds done. We’ll see…

A week from this Saturday is our Family Thanksgiving Feast. I can hardly wait to see everyone as we haven’t gotten together since the last Family Camp in October. Of course, even then it won’t be the whole family getting together. We’ll still be missing 9 of them and there are no plans in the future for when the whole family can get together. They are all in my thoughts and prayers always!

That’s the news from home today !

Have a great day ! Another Wonderful one on the Way !

TODAY IS...KING TUT DAY

 TODAY'S SMILE

At the mall a little girl climbed onto Santa's lap, and he asked the usual, "And what would you like for Christmas?"

The child stared at him open mouthed and horrified for a minute, then gasped:

But, but, didn't you get my E-mail…

TODAY'S REFLECTION

Your advice has been my guide, and later you will welcome me to glory

Psalm 73:24

The psalmist shows his complete confidence in God. He looks back and sees the guidance that he has received. He looks forward with faith and hope that at the end of his life, God will welcome him to glory.

Do you have tough decisions to make? Do you feel alone and helpless, having no one around to help you make the right choice? Now is the time to pause and talk it over with the Lord, so let go and let God be your guide

Veterans Day. Originally Armistice Day, commemorating the signing of the agreement that ended World War I at 11:00 A.M., November 11, 1918, this federal holiday was changed to Veterans Day in 1954. At that time, it became a day to honor all the men and women who have served in the armed forces of the United States
