HAPPY TUESDAY

AND

WELCOME TO A BRAND NEW MONTH !

We had a glorious day Monday but today will probably bring some showers once again. Everything is getting green and blooming !

All is quiet here and I’ve nothing special on the calendar after work this week. Just trying to get a little done each day and making the most of it.

Have a great day all ! Another wonderful one on the Way !

Please pray for God's protection of our troops and HIS wisdom for their commanders.

Lord, hold our troops in your loving hands. Protect them as they protect us. Bless them and their families for the selfless acts they perform for us in our time of need. I ask this in the name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.

25 WORDS

God, I thank You for today, for the ways You will bless me, and for the ways that I will serve others in Your name

TODAY IS…MOTHER GOOSE DAY

Who was Mother Goose? The answer is many different writers. The term "Mother Goose" has been traced back to 1650 when a French book carried the line, "Like a Mother Goose story". It was first used in the title of a nusery rhyme collection about 1765 when "Mother Goose's Melody" was published. The name caught on, and nusery rhymes have been attributed to Mother Goose ever since.

TODAY’S SMILE

Irritation, Aggravation and Frustration…as explained by a father.

A boy asks his father to explain the differences among irritation, aggravation, and frustration.

Dad picks up the phone and dials a number at random. When the phone is answered he asks, "Can I speak to Alf, please?" "No! There's no one called Alf here." The person hangs up. "That's irritation," says Dad.

He picks up the phone again, dials the same number and asks for Alf a second time. "No -- there's no one here called Alf. Go away. If you call again I shall telephone the police."

End of conversation. "That's aggravation."

"Then what's 'frustration'?" asks his son.

The father picks up the phone and dials a third time: "Hello, this is Alf. Have I received any phone calls?"

TODAY’S REFLECTION

Jesus said to him, If you are able!—All things can be done for the one who believes.

Mark 9:23

I have become more and more convinced the magic that we behold in the lives of those who believe is not magic at all. Instead it is the power that is felt through the movement of the Spirit of God.

Do you believe in God? …Then let us …stand up for what we believe. For when we do, the power of God is able to flow into the world and our lives in some ‘magical'ways.

O most holy Creator, You have formed each one of us, and yet there are some days, and many ways, when we act as if You do not exist. God, strengthen us so that we might be able to stand up and declare the truth of Your existence, and our willingness to follow You where You would have us go. Amen.
