TODAY’S QUOTE
May there always be work for your hands to do,
may your purse always hold a coin or two.
May the sun always shine on your windowpane,

May the hand of a friend always be near you,
may God fill your heart with gladness to cheer you.

HAPPY SATURDAY
The weekend has finally come and I’m working away to get things ready for Sunday. This will be our Family Feast day to celebrate Easter.
I should have only about 12 people altogether. DS# 1 and family, DD and her hubby, DS#5 and his wife and the Newlyweds will all be here. This is a small gathering compared to some years. We’ll be missing those that can’t make it, but I’m sure we’ll enjoy lots of good food and laughter.
I’ll try to post lots of pictures come Monday!
As usual I’m off to my Dad’s today.
Have a great day all ! Another wonderful one on the Way !
Please pray for God's protection of our troops and HIS wisdom for their commanders.
Lord, hold our troops in your loving hands. Protect them as they protect us. Bless them and their families for the selfless acts they perform for us in our time of need. I ask this in the name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
25 WORDS
God, I thank You for today, for the ways You will bless me, and for the ways that I will serve others in Your name
TODAY IS…FORTUNE COOKIE DAY
Fortune cookies, like chop suey, are a U.S. invention. They come from Los Angeles where a baker named David Jung started making cookies with thin slips of paper inside sometime around 1920. Jung founded the Hong Kong Noodle Company, which produced more than 3,000 cookies an hour during the 1920s.

TODAY’S SMILE
A good piece of chocolate has about 200 calories. As I enjoy 2 servings per night, and a few more on weekends. I consume 3,500 calories of chocolate in a week, which equals one pound of weight per week.
Therefore... In the last 3 1/2 years, I have had chocolate caloric intake of about 180 pounds, and I only weigh 165 pounds, so without chocolate, I would have wasted away to nothing about 3 months ago!
I owe my life to chocolate.

TODAY’S REFLECTION
Let us come near to God with a sincere heart and a sure faith.
Hebrews 10:22
Have we been given any greater privilege than that of choice? Not only does this privilege offset any injustice, the gift of free will can offset any mistakes.
One good choice for eternity offsets a thousand bad ones on earth. The choice in yours.
