ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
JULY 17TH, 2008
TODAY'S THOUGHT
One of the most tragic things I know about human nature is that all of us tend to put off living. We are all dreaming of some magical rose garden over the horizon - instead of enjoying the roses that are blooming outside our windows today.
Dale Carnegie

TODAY IS…FARMER’S ALMANAC DAY

Since then, it has come out once a year with useful information: tide tables for people near the ocean, sunrise tables and planting charts for farmers, recipes for cooks, and weather forecasts for everybody

TODAY’S REFLECTION
If God is for us, who can be against us
Romans 8:31
… I think God feels about me the way I felt about the reformed criminal. He doesn’t want to catch me in a crime. Rather, He is cheering me on, hoping I will do the right thing. When I’m tempted, I can almost hear Him saying, “Don’t go there! Turn around. I’ll help you, if you just turn around.”
God is on my side. Having Someone Who believes in me is often all I need to find strength.
